𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬
𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐍𝐊𝐒, practicing her lines by herself. she had been doing it for a few minutes, trying to cool herself down from the anger she felt earlier. she would've been listening to music on her phone, but since she didn't have access to that, she turned to this. her focus was on one of the chairs as she tried to recite the lines off the top of her head.
"it's not your fault we were caught in a magical summer blizzard and no one will give us a room." rue cited, having her arms cross over her chest with her script in one of her hands. she then sighed, shaking her head slightly. she uncrossed her arms, opening up her script so she could see the next line. "yeah. what do they have against reindeer?" she continued, doing a double take to her left to see that gina was standing there with a loving smile on her lips. "uh, how long have you been there?"
"long enough to wonder if you have an imaginary friend." gina answered.
"wouldn't be the first time we saw a ghost. which reminds me. . ." rue reasoned, her voice trailing off as she took out her bucket list, along with a pen. she used the pen to cross out number ten on her list.
"oh, my god! is that the bucket list?" gina asked, raising her eyebrows slightly as her smiled widened. rue simply nodded, looking at her girlfriend with a small smile. "can i see?" rue let out a sigh, handing her list towards gina. "yes! 'things to do before i'm 18.' very intriguing."
