𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 their video for the song that ashlyn and nini had written, you ain't seen nothin', rue had received a text from gina saying that she was getting ready to go back to ashlyn's since her flight was cancelled. it was extremely late, like, probably close to midnight, so gina didn't want to ask rue to come get her. but rue being rue, still hopped out of bed and slipped on her sneakers. as she was about to leave, she thought about the plan that she had told her mother. she quickly started to pack stuff into a book bag that she rarely used. she then left the house, grabbing the keys to the orange beetle in the process. she then put the book bag in the trunk, noticing that ricky had left his guitar in there. she smiled, silently thanking him.
"where are you going? it's the middle of the night." the voice of mike bowen questioned, making the girl look at him.
"uh, to pick up gina. her flight got cancelled." rue answered, closing the trunk as she turned to face her dad. "is that okay?"
mike ran his fingers over his beard that he's been growing out, going into thought. the last time rue had shown this much interest in a girl, she ended up getting hurt. "yeah, just. . . just be careful, rue. i don't want you to get hurt."
