𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏 on her bed, laying on her side as she snuggled into her gray teddy bear that she's had for years. her hair was a complete mess, sticking up in every direction. the blankets were sprawled over her body while her pajamas were twisted uncomfortably. everyone else inside of honeycomb bunk were already up and out, either looking at the cast list that had been posted or eating breakfast. but because ruella bowen wasn't a morning person and could basically sleep through anything, she was still drooling into her pillow. gina porter crept back into the bunk, a small smile appearing on her lips when her eyes fell onto her sleeping girlfriend.
the porter girl crept over to rue's bunk, climbing up the ladder a little. she nudged rue gently, making the older girl groan slightly. "i've got a question, love."
"what is it?" rue asked, her voice muffled as she snuggled more into her teddy bear with her eyes still closed. she immediately knew that it was gina, knowing the sound of her voice anywhere.
"is it true that reindeers are better than people?" gina questioned, a cheeky smile on her lips.
rue lifted her head up from her pillow, her eyebrows furrowed in a mixture of confusion and exhaustion. "what?"
