Luke went after me and we got in the car. Well that was after I gave him hell.

"Nothing happened." He said as his eyes were on the road.

I sighed, "I'm tired, Luke. Between Laura and Grace, I can't anymore, they annoy me so much. And some of your friends were rude, and you didn't even say anything."

"I was going to, but like always, you went ahead with violence."

"You make me sound bad. All I did was defend myself, you know. It's not like I have a husband who loves me and wants to protect me." I shrugged. "The one I have, spends time with other girls."

"Do you have feelings for me? Is that what this is?"

"How could I? We're in a loveless marriage. And is not like we spend time together. The only time we did, was that day at the park."

The thing is, when I first saw Luke, at my dad's business parties, I developed an immediate crush, then I met Owen, and that crush disappeared. When I saw, Luke again, months ago, I got a little excited. But that didn't mean I wanted to get married, like we did. From crush to husband, was a bit too much. But he'll never know that he was my first crush.

"Maybe with time, it can grow to more." Luke, said. "It doesn't have to stay loveless forever."

I chuckled. "Are you trying to tell me something?"

"I know I've been a dick. But I kinda suck at this."

"Well, tip 1, never cheat. Tip 2, don't spend time with other girls. Tip 3, make her feel like she's the only one. And last but not least, stop spending time with your toxic ex." I rolled my eyes as I said the last one.

He sighed. "Laura, is a good friend. I can't just face her out of my life."

"She's your ex, a toxic one. I hope when we get divorce, you meet a new one. And hopefully, Laura will go away forever."

He laughed humorless. "I'm not going to divorce you, nor will I give it to you. Marriage is forever."

"What happened to, only five years, then bye." I gave him a look. "You're a walking contradiction."

"You bring me peace." He placed his hand on my leg. Ah fuck, that made me feel butterflies. "And I like having you around."

"Like a trophy."

He rolled his eyes as he parked in the garage. "No."

"I'll see your side, when you change."

...........

After classes were over, I headed to the house. I need to sleep and eat. I heard voices and went to the living-room. Grace was there and so was Neil, he is Alex, brother.

"Savy," Luke, got up and hugged me.

Savy? Are we giving each other nicknames? "Lukebear."

Neil, laughed whilst Grace, rolled her eyes at me. Eh. I guess I'll have fun for a bit.

"Guess what?" I said a little excited. "My chocolate cake with fudge was the best!'

"It's just cake, nothing out of this world." Grace added.

"Well," I wrapped my arms around Luke's, neck and looked him in the eyes. "My husband gets excited, if something great happens to me, right, Lukebear."

He just smiled, "I do love a good, chocolate cake with fudge." He pecked my lips. "Did you bring me a piece?"

"I actually brought the whole cake. Figured we could have some after dinner and maybe some after having fun in our room." I smiled back.

"Gee, get a room." Neil said.

"We have one." Luke, answered him.

"There's no need for a room right now." Grace said as she started to get up, but Neil, pulled her back down.

"Let me take this." Luke, grabbed the cake, and went to the kitchen.

"Luke, is my husband. Stop making passes and flirting with him." I gave her a look.

"I'm going to help, Luke." Neil left.

"He called you toxic." She chuckled. "And to top it all, that you were annoying him."

I smirked. "He apologized and we made up that night."

"Was that before, or after he said that, he didn't love you, nor will he fall for you." She laughed. "This whole marriage is fake, and for what?"

"You know nothing. Our marriage is real, everything he said, was cause he was angry. He has a temper and I'm the only one who can calm him." I said simply.

"I'm pretty sure he only married you, cause of that baby." She huffed. "Luke, was supposed to be with me, but Laura, got between us!"

"If Luke, had really liked you, you would've been his ex and not Laura. You're just obsessed with him, cause you can't have him." I smirked. "But in the end, I got the best, I'm his wife, so you and Laura, need to leave us alone!"

"I won't rest, til Luke, is mine." She whispered yell.

I yawned. "Sure thing, Grecia."

"Is Grace!"

"Eh." I walked away and went to the kitchen.

Grace slammed the front door and left.

"Gee, you two sure have crazy friends." I rolled my eyes.

"You get used to her." Neil said.

"I rather not have someone like her near him." I gave Luke a side hug. He wrapped his arms around my belly. "Especially when that someone, has a crush on my husband."

He buried his head on my neck, I got goosebumps. "I'm yours, Savy."

"Aww, too much sweet. I'll see you two around." He waved us goodbye and left.

"Savy?"

"Lukebear?"

We started to laugh. Today was different, but it almost felt real. A little too real. I liked it.
