Five months have passed. Luke, stuck to his word and never again did he snapped at me, he left all his problems about the company there. Violet, has him wrapped up around her little finger. He was a changed man, he even gets up at night to change her and brings her to me to feed her. I also went back to studying. Marissa takes care of her when I'm at school, she offered since she doesn't work.

"I'm home."

I went to our bedroom and found the cutest sight ever. Luke and Violet, were wearing white shirt, jeans and a baseball hat but backwards. Violet, giggled.

I chuckled. "This is something you don't see everyday."

"It's daddy and daughter day. Mommy is banned today." He tickled Violet. She laughed.

"How rude." I sighed dramatically. "Where's Marissa?"

"She left, an hour ago." He answered as he put,Violet in the crib and turned to me and pulled closer til our faces were inches apart. "I was thinking, we should go away for the weekend. Just us."

"What about Violet?"

"She can stay with my parents, or your dad and Marissa. A romantic getaway." He pecked my lips.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled. "Well, we can leave her with my dad and Marissa. They leave Monday morning for their honeymoon."

"Oh right, they get married this Thursday." He said with a cheeky smiled.

"You forgot didn't you?"

"Sorry, work has my mind preoccupied." He kissed me. "But never for you, or my princess "

I giggled. "Can't wait for our weekend away."

He kissed me with so much passion. We pulled away and lust was written in his eyes.

"I'm happy with you." I caressed his face.

"So am I." He smiled.

We heard a little person blew raspberries. We chuckled. Luke, picked her up and then they went to have their father, daughter time. I went to take a shower and changed into comfy clothes.

.........

After the ceremony, we went to the reception. Everything was beautiful, Dad and Marissa made their way to the dance floor and had their dance as a married couple. They looked so happy.

"I want to dance with my wife." Luke whispered in my ear.

I smiled. I placed, Violet, in Valerie arms, and went to the dance floor with Luke.

"This is perfect." He said as we slow dance. "You in my arms, no faking our love."

I pecked his lips. "It is. I love you." I laid my head on his chest.

"I love you more. My Savy." He smiled.

As we danced, more people started to make their way to the dance floor and so did a little person.

"You get to dance with your parents." Valerie, handed her to Luke, and then left

He started to dance with her and it was the cutest sight, ever. Luke, pulled me to him and the three of us dance together.

Valerie

"I always knew, those two would end up falling in love." Grandma Amelia, said.

"Why do I get the feeling, you were the one who told Luke, to marry Savannah?" I gave her a look.

"Me? How dare you!" She feigned being hurt.

I chuckled as I gave her a side hug.

"Sometimes we all just need a little push to go in the right direction." She smiled.

"I guess I need a big push, my love life sucks." I blew air past my lips.

"Oh sweetie, patience is a virtue. The right guy will come. Hang in there, and never give up on love, sometimes. Things are not what they seem." With that said, she left.

Sometimes, she scares me. That woman is always on point with things, is freaky. Since I'm alone, to the bar it is.

A glass of red wine."

"And a glass of whiskey."

I turned to see, Matthew.

"I'm surprised to see you alone." I said as I grabbed the glass of wine and then took a sip.

"I could say the same," he drank his whiskey. " I decided I wanted to come alone to my mom's wedding."

"And because, your current girlfriend can't stand your mom." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Well, that was a factor yes. But, she can't stress, Claire is a month pregnant."

I feel like someone just poured a bucket of cold water with ice on me. The man that I love, is having a baby with someone else. I never told him that I love him, but figure if we got to that point, I would. Guess I'll never will.

"Congrats, Matt." I faked smiled.

"Val-"

"I'm fine, like we said before, ours was just a meaningless thing. Claire is the one that has your heart." I said as I walked away from the reception.

"Val!" He turned me around and pulled me to him.

"What do you want, Matt?" My voice was breaking. "To be happy? Is that what you want?"

"You were the one who said, no strings attached remember? I can't leave her, she's pregnant and I care about her."

I pulled away from him, I hate Claire. She's the kind of girl that acts sweet, but reality she's a real bitch. No wonder, Marissa dislikes her. Somehow she has Matt, under her spell. She's beautiful, too bad her personality is ugly.

"I did say that, and I regret it. I was scared."

Since, I'll never get to have him this close and I really don't care about Claire's feelings, I pulled him to me and crashed my lips against his. Fuck, I forgot this man is one hell of a kisser. The kiss was really heated, I wanted him so bad, but knew that wasn't going to happen.

He pulled away and looked at me confused. "What the hell, Valerie?"

"That's a kiss you'll never forget." I wiped my tears away. "And I don't regret it, Matt. Maybe one day we will be together, and if not, I hope you at least leave Claire, for someone who isn't a wolf dressed as a sheep."

With that said, I left him there speechless and returned to the bar. Love can suck it.
