Chapter 12: Turning 20

I was now 7 months old. I couldn't wait to give birth already. This belly was so heavy. I did managed to finish my first semester. Second semester will have to wait and that also applies for work. Aurora understood and told me that my job, will be waiting for me.

"Guess who's getting ascended to CEO?" He said as he entered my room and did a mini spin. I chuckled.

"Your dad has finally realized, that you deserve to be the CEO. I'm happy for you." I hugged him.

"Thank you." He caressed my face. "We need to celebrate by going out for dinner."

"I would like that." I smiled. "We've never done that before."

"And now we are." He pecked my lips. "After work, I'll pick you up."

"Sounds good." I said as I fixed his tie. "Now you're ready."

He pulled me into a kiss and then left. Who knew that a forced marriage, would be the best decision anyone has ever made for me. Sure at the beginning I wanted to smack him, but now I'm falling for him.

We made our way to the rooftop, where out table was and took a seat. The ambient was so romantic, everything was just, too perfect, it was scary.

"So, how did it go at the office?"

The waitress came and took our orders. She was eyeing, Luke, and I wanted to claw her eyes out.

"Could you stop staring at my husband." I said through greeted teeth.

"Calm down, Savy." He interlaced our fingers from across the table and then look at the waitress. "But she's right, I find it rude, when people stare."

"Sorry, it's just that, you're so handsome. I feel like we had sex before." Does she have a death wish. "Oh yeah, now I remember, we were drunk and so was your girlfriend, Laura. We had a threesome months ago."

I'm going to kill her and Luke too. "Get.the.fuck.out.of.here!"

She rolled her eyes and then left. I wasn't hungry anymore.

"I want to leave." I wiped my tears.

"I'm sorry, I was drunk and-"

I interrupted him. "I told you, that I already knew you had sex with Laura. I didn't know you added someone else, but we weren't together at that time, just by paper, so you're good." I shrugged.

He sighed. "I'm yours. I wasn't lying when I said, that you have my heart." He sat next to me and placed a soft kiss on my lips. "Want to grab some burgers and fries?"

I chuckled. "Yes." We got out of that restaurant and before we entered his car, I kissed him with so much passion. "You have my heart. Don't hurt it."

"Never." He smiled against my lips.

"Happy birthday, to you." I heard two voices. "Happy birthday, Savannah. Happy birthday to you."

I opened my eyes and then sat properly. It was, Luke with Valerie. She was holding a mini cake, with the number, 20 in it.

"Make a wish, baby." He said in a very sexy voice, I melted.

I closed my eyes and made the wish and then blew the candle.

Valerie placed the mini cake on the night stand, and then gave me a hug. Luke planted a kiss on my lips.

"So, why are you sleeping in the guest bedroom?" She asked.

Luke and I looked at each other and I put on my best acting skills. "Luke was an ass last night, so I told him to get bent and I move some of my stuff here, til he got his shit together."

"Only because I told her to stop eating chocolate, she needs to eat healthy." He rolled his eyes. "And it was 1 am."

"I'm pregnant and I have cravings!" I huffed.

She smack Luke, on the head. "She can eat whatever she wants. If it's about her getting fat, well, that's part of being pregnant. You can either gain or lose weight. Now suck it up."

"Ouch." He rubbed his head. "And I don't care if she gets fat. It was cause of the baby's health and hers." He sat next to me and kissed me. "You're perfect for me."

"Third wheeling. I'm heading downstairs." She grabbed the cake and left. We chuckled.

"Happy birthday, babygirl." He kissed me. This one was a hungry one, he slid his tongue, which caused me to moan, I wanted him right now.

"Thank you." I said in a daze. "I'm so horny."

"I can help you with that." He smirked.

"Really?"

He kissed my neck. "After your birthday celebration," his hands grabbed my butt and made me moan, "I will make you scream my name."

"Ahem."

We pulled away to see, Amelia, Valerie and their parents. This is so embarrassing.

"Next time, close the door." Valerie, chuckled.

"You were the last to exit." Luke, told her. She shrugged.

I buried my face on his chest, they all chuckled.

"As a birthday present, can you pretend, you didn't see, or heard anything."

"See what?" They said.

I smiled. They closed the door and I playfully punched Luke on his shoulder. "This is your fault."

He laughed. "You asked, I delivered."

"You suck."

"I will later." He kissed my cheek and then left me to get ready.

Once I was done, I made my way to the dining room. I was surprised to see the whole room decorated. I figured it would be just, a normal breakfast. Even Aurora was here, I love her. She's like a mom to me.

"Can't believe you're 20 already, I remember when you came to the bakery for the first time with your mom, you were just two years old, and you stole a cookie." Aurora hugged me.

I laughed as I wiped a few tears. They became inseparable, when my mom left this world, Aurora was there for me, and I didn't feel so alone.

"Because you guys make the best cookies." I hugged her.

I smiled at all of them. "Thank you for this."

They all hugged me and sang happy birthday. I'm grateful that I have amazing people in my life. Even if some came unexpectedly.
