Axel woke up the next morning. He sat up in bed before getting up and ready for the day. He checked his phone and saw a snap from Eli. It was a message saying, "Hey you still wanna hang?". Axel replied saying "Yes of course!" Meanwhile, Axel's mom took Leo to school. 1 hour later, Axel was in class with Nyoko, after class Nyoko hugged him and kissed his cheek. Usually, Axel smiles and laughs, but this time, he didn't feel any emotion when she did that. Something was off, but as usual, he shrugged it off like it was maybe he was too tired. His phone rang, it was Eli. Axel excused himself for a moment and headed to the bathroom. Though, when he got there, his phone went silent. He sighed in disappointment. He went to his next class, ELA. Axel saw Eli walking down the hall, they waved at each other. Axel lit up like a light bulb when they waved. Eli smiled back.
