Chapter 10 - In trouble

Liam's POV

Once Sienna and her husband left, I went to my bedroom with Luke; I decided to stay the night in the mansion to spend more time with my little cute friend.

While Luke was playing with the cars, I grabbed my MacBook and opened my email. I downloaded the photos which Marco had sent me and started looking at them. Aurora looked breathtaking. When I saw her for the first time in this dress, my heart nearly stopped.

I bit my lower lip while looking at our photos one by one, remembering how good I felt when she was in my arms. Every inch of me craved for her, but I had to hold myself. Otherwise, I knew I would lose my chance with her. Firstly, I had to earn her trust.

"Car." Luke babbled, extending the toy towards me, interrupting my thoughts. I gave him a warm smile and leaned towards him.

"Munchkin, let me show you the girl I like." I said softly and showed him my photo with Aurora. "She is so beautiful, isn't she? I will steal her heart soon." I added and winked at him.

"Mama... mama." Luke tapped on the screen gleefully.

"No, she isn't your mother. Did you miss your mommy?" I gave him a tender smile. "So did you like my Aurora?" I asked, amused and placed a soft kiss on top of his head.

I placed my MacBook on the bedside table and pulled Luke into my arms. I made funny faces and placed a several kisses on his cheek, forehead, nose and stomach playfully. He giggled happily and started bouncing, tapping his chubby hands on my arm.

After having breakfast with my family, I went to my room to get my phone and MacBook. I had a photoshoot in an hour.

When I walked into my room, I saw Layla waiting for me here. As soon as I closed the door behind me, she approached me and kissed my lips, wrapping her arms around my neck. I grabbed her arms and pushed her back.

"I am in a hurry." I lied and walked towards the bedside table.

"Why didn't you inform me that you would be here? Every time I have a day-off, you come here. Are you avoiding me?" She gave me a questioning look and folded her arms over her chest.

I heaved a loud sigh and grabbed my MacBook and phone.

"I am not. I forgot my MacBook here. So I came to get it. Then I decided to spend the night here." I replied, bored.

"Will you stay here tonight?" Layla asked seductively as she approached me slowly. "We can have fun tonight." She added provocatively, resting her hands on my chest.

"No, I am busy." I answered dryly and pulled back.

She gritted her teeth. "When will I see you again?" She asked, trying to hide her annoyance.

"I don't know. Bye." I said nonchalantly and left the room quickly.

I placed a tender kiss on Luke's cheek and gave him to my mother. His mother was going to pick him up in a few hours.

"Remember me when you play with this car. Okay?" I cooed him, giving my yellow car to him.

"Car!" He babbled cheerfully, grabbing the car.

"I will miss you, munchkin." I admitted honestly, caressing his chubby cheek affectionately. "Goodbye." I waved my hand, giving him a warm smile.

His lower lip quivered, and he started crying, extending his hands towards me. As much as my mother tried to smooth him, he didn't stop crying while I was walking towards my car.

As I couldn't bear him crying, I went back towards him. Seeing him crying made my heart sink.

"Don't cry, my munchkin." I said softly as I took him in my arms and kissed his forehead.
