Chapter 37 - United

Liam's POV

"Where is he then?" Luke asked, confused. "Doesn't he want us?" He asked sadly.

"No, he didn't know about you because I couldn't tell him that I was pregnant." Aurora replied, caressing Luke's hair tenderly. "Your father and I met at a Halloween party. After spending time together, I had to go back to university. We didn't exchange numbers, and we didn't know each other's names. We called each other 'Witch' and 'Greek god' because of our costumes. So I couldn't contact him when I found out that we were going to have a baby because I didn't know anything about him."

"So I will never see Daddy..." Luke mumbled sadly.

"No, you will because your father and I saw each other again, and he found out about you."

"Really? Will he come to see me?" Luke asked in excitement.

"Yes. Actually, you have met him before he found out about you." Luke gave Aurora a confused look. "Honey, when your daddy and I bumped into each other again, we didn't recognize each other. After for a while, we found out that we met at that party a few years ago. So when your father visited me, you met each other." Aurora added and ruffled her hair nervously.

Luke frowned, puzzled. "Who is Daddy then?"

"It is me." I answered, giving Luke a nervous look. Luke looked at me in surprise. "Umm... Are you upset?" I asked sadly.

"No, Daddy." Luke gave me a cheeky smile.

I grinned joyfully as my heart filled with happiness. Luke called me Daddy for the first time. It was indescribable feeling. I was on cloud nine.

"Will you stay with us, or will you leave again?" Luke asked curiously.

"I won't go anywhere again. I promise." He grinned, nodding, and hugged me. I hugged him back, placing a soft kiss on his hair, and looked at Aurora happily. She gave me a tender look and wiped her tears off her cheeks.

I was sipping my champagne, resting my hand on Aurora's back protectively while we were talking to my sister-in-law in the back garden of my parents' mansion. Today was my parents' wedding anniversary. My parents hosted a white party to celebrate this day with their close relatives, business partners and friends.

I frowned in confusion as everyone looked at their phones and started whispering while looking at Aurora and me.

"What is going on?" Aurora asked uncomfortably, giving me a puzzled look.

"I have no idea." I replied and put my champagne flute on the table.

Suddenly, Kayden rushed towards me, holding his phone in his hand.

"Liam, you have to see it." My friend said and gave me his phone.

"What is..." I didn't finish my sentence as I grabbed his phone and looked at his phone.

"Oh my..." Aurora gasped, covering her mouth with her hand as she looked at the phone.

"Shit! How did they find out?" I mumbled under my breath, clenching my fist angrily.

There was an article about Aurora, Luke and me in the magazine. Now everyone knew that Aurora and I had a relationship, and we had a son. I didn't know how they got this information; we hadn't told anyone about it yet.

It had been three days since we told Luke the truth. I was planning to give a statement to the media as soon as Luke officially became the Anderson. However, I wasn't angry because everyone found out about it, I was frustrated because what was written in the article. They implied that Aurora was a gold-digger who trapped me and used her son to get money from my family and me.
