Millie jumped out of the car as they pulled up to an old motel where Carson was supposed to be according to Sam's tracking. She had an angel blade with her, Dean had the demon killing knife and Sam had a gun with devil's trap bullets in it. Millie knew she was acting irrational as she ran in the building, but she didn't have time to wait for her brothers right now. She ran to the reception demanding the room number for her friend's room before running towards it.

This was a good sign; they were in the right place at least. Her heart was racing, hoping they had gotten here in time to get Carson out before the demons found him. Sam and Dean was right behind Millie as they got to the room. Millie charged into the room. It was seven demons surrounding Carson. He was beat up and bloody. Everyone stopped in their tracks before turning to face the Winchester. The demons tormenting Carson all smiled at the three siblings, like they won the lottery.

"Let him go" Millie spoke up, angry and ready to fight. Two of the demons used their powers to throw Sam and Dean up against the walls and held them there. It was Millie against the seven demons holding Carson hostage. Two demons ran at Millie, but she was expecting it, so taking them down was not a problem for her right now. Millie channeled her anger and used it for everything it was worth.

"Now, now, Winchester, we're not here for you, we're only here for Carson, so why don't you step aside and let us discipline him" the demon who hold onto Carson spoke up.

"I will kill every single one of you before I leave, I can promise you that" Millie spoke with venom lacing her voice, "Let him go".

"Millie..." Carson tried to speak up, "It's ok, don't do this".

"This is my fault Carson, I'm not letting you die for me".

Another demon charged at Millie and this one put up a bit more fight than the first two. He got in a few punches, making Millie bleed from her nose before she managed to stab him. She then started to fight the demon holding Dean up against the wall, successfully killing him after a few more punches in the face. Dean went after the demon holding Sam, leaving the two closest to Carson for Millie to take on.

Millie's face was bloody and one of the demons had managed to grace her arm with a knife before Millie stabbed her. Millie looked over at Carson as she pulled her angel blade out of the demon before her. However, the demon closest to Carson was faster than her. He pulled Carson closer before piercing his own demon killing knife into him.

"NO!" Millie screamed as Carson's body flickered with sparks of light before he fell lifeless to the floor. Millie felt her heart breaking at the sight before everything turned black. She only snapped out of her anger filled- daze when Dean had to pull her from the last demons body. She had stabbed the demon before getting on top of his body and beating him until his face was unrecognizable.

Millie sat with Carson's head in her lap. He was gone. He was gone and it was all because of her. "I'm so sorry" she whispered as she kissed his forehead.

"Millie..." Sam was scared for his sister's reaction to anyone talking to her right now, but he and Dean had agreed they should get out of here, in case more demons were going to come lurking. Millie kept her eyes on Carson as Sam continued, "we should leave". Millie took a deep breath before kissing Carson's forehead once more and getting to her feet. The blood on her face had dried up and first now she felt the acing in her body after being punched and sliced a couple of times.

Back in a motel rooms they had rented for the night, Millie went straight to bed, not wanting to talk to anyone right now. Sam and Dean sat in their own room, deciding it was best to give their sister some privacy.

"You think she's gonna be alright?" Sam spoke up, feeling sad for their sister.

"Not for a while. Did you see what she did to that demon? She was gone for a moment, Sam".

"Yeah, I saw it. It was like she was having a blackout or something. Did you talk to Cas, after she woke up? If he saw anything different in her?"

"He never answered the question... you think she is turning into something else?"

"I don't know, Dean, but that back there was... I don't know".

"Yeah, I know..."

Dean called Castiel, trying to get some answers out of him. And a few seconds later, the fluttery sounds of angel wings filled the brother's room.

"What happened?" Castiel asked.

"Carson is dead" Sam answered.

"What? How?"

Dean explained everything that had happened to Castiel, including their sister going rouge on one of the demons and taking out six demons by herself. The brothers knew their sister was a good fighter, but six demons alone are an accomplishment they had never seen anyone human do before.

"I need you to be honest with me, buddy, do you see anything different in Millie since she woke up... demon like?" Dean pleaded with Castiel, needing to know if something was wrong with Millie.

"There is something different in her, but that's all I know. I can't tell if it's because Pan actually managed to break her soul or of it is just the strain of the torture she went through".

"What happens if her soul is broken?" Sam asked. They had never heard of a broken soul before.

"To create demons, you have to break their human souls down so much that it cannot be recognized as a soul anymore. But I only though it was possible if the human was the torturer, not only from being tortured. That doesn't make sense".

"Can you try to look into it and we'll make sure Millie is alright?"

"Yes" and with that was the angel gone.

The problem was, when the brother's woke up the next day, Millie was gone. They tried to call her but no answer. Then they tried both Bobby and Castiel but they hadn't heard from her either. As they got inside the impala, however, they found a note from their sister.

I just need some time alone.

I'll call if I get into trouble.
