The weeks went by as the Winchesters tried their best to find out what was wrong with Millie. They had all agreed on keeping Millie away from hunting for now, just in case, but Millie wasn't used to being inactive. She started to become restless, so she started to work out. Bobby had a beaten-up boxing bag laying around that Millie had hung up in the basement. She spent hours every day either boxing or going for runs. Dean teased her about it, but he knew his sister needed to get her emotions out somehow, and this was the best solution.

Millie and Castiel tried their best to keep their relationship hidden from the youngest Winchesters, but it was hard. Millie found herself wanting to hold Castiel's hand or kiss him whenever he was around, but they had decided not to tell her brothers just yet. After Millie had told Bobby, he had gone on to have a serious conversation with Castiel about how he would kill the angel himself if he ever were to hurt his little girl. Castiel only nodded scared in understanding to Bobby, and Millie had a big laugh about it later when Castiel had told her.

Castiel was usually out every day, trying to figure out what was happening to the human girl he had come to love, and he tried his best to come back to Bobby's house every night, to spend time with Millie. He was afraid about what they would find, and he wanted to spend as much time as possible next to his love before it was too late.

"Guys, I'm honestly going crazy just staying here day in and day out" Millie exclaimed as everyone was gathered in Bobby's living room. "Staying still will probably make me snap before anything else at this point".

"Well, we don't have any more leads" Dean answered back, he too started to get sick of not finding anything new.

"We've gone through all the lore we can find and nothing" Sam added.

"I know one thing we haven't tried" Millie said as she pulled out her phone and called someone. The four guys in the room just looked at each other, not knowing where Millie was going with this.

Millie hung up and everyone looked at her until they heard, "Hello boys" from the corner of the room.

"You called Crowley?" Dean asked angrily.

"Yes, a demon did this to me Dean, maybe asking a demon what's wrong might give some answers".

"And you just have the King of Hell on speed dial?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

"Nothing is wrong with that sweetheart, now what do you need?" Crowley walked closer to Millie, curious to why the oldest Winchester had asked for him. And as Crowley walked closer, so did Castiel, eager to protect Millie from the King of Hell.

"Please ask your guard dog to stand down, sweetheart".

Millie looked over at Castiel and gave him a look, telling him it was ok. Millie then explained the situation to Crowley and asked if he knew something about it.

Crowley did a quick examination of Millie before speaking, "You're not turning into a demon, if that's what you're scared of".

"What? Then what is happening to me?"

"Take of your shirt" Crowley instructed her like it was no big deal.

Millie did as she was told and Crowley walked behind her, examining her back, "Here, this is the problem".

All the four boys looked at Millie's back, examining it as well.

"Well, what is it?" Millie could see but when Crowley touched it, it hurt. There was a black mark on her body, it looked like a bullet wound with no bullet and it looked like whatever it was, it was spreading across her back.

"It's a curse" Crowley stated.

"And how do we fix it?" Dean was almost relived, knowing most curses could be broken.

"A bullet to the head or a knife though the hear should do it. Sorry sweetheart" Crowley looked at Millie, it was almost like he felt sorry for her.

Millie pulled her shirt back on before turning to Castiel, she could see the gears shifting in his head, "How did I not see it?" he whispered to himself, but it seemed like the other people in the room heard him.

"I should probably leave" was all Crowley said before disappearing.

"Excuse me? What did you say, Cas?" Dean asked while Millie and Castiel looked at each other with big eyes.

"Nothing" Cas spoke up as he turned towards Sam and Dean. He didn't know how the brothers would react if they knew Castiel and Millie spend almost every night together, and not just sleeping. They hadn't had sex and he had never seen Millie naked but sometimes she changed out of a top in front of him, although he always turned around whenever she did.

"Sam, Dean... it's nothing, really" Millie tried to diffuse the situation, while Bobby sat chuckling in his chair.

Dean turned to Bobby, "What, you know what's going on?"

"Hey, it's not my place to tell".

"This is really not important right now, but yeah, me and Cas are kind of together" now she turned to Castiel, "or I don't know, because we haven't really talked about it".

"Hah, I knew it!" Sam exclaimed, having believed it was something between the two of them for a while now, it was good getting it confirmed.

"What? You're sleeping with my sister?" Dean confronted Castiel in full on overprotective brother style.

"Dean, relax, we're not sleeping together... yet" she winked at Castiel who felt his cheeks go red.

"Ok, ok, I'll talk to you later" Dean pointed at Castiel before continuing, "at least we know you're not turning into a demon".

The boys and Millie went back to their books while Castiel left to see if he could find out something about the curse. Castiel came back empty handed, and the others didn't have any luck either. Millie had called Crowley again and asked a bit more about the curse, but all he knew wat that it was as dark as magic could get. He had even gone through Pan's old spell books to see it if said anything, but the only antidote he found was death. If they didn't kill Millie, the venom would spread through her body until she would turn into one of the things she hunted. Her mind would go crazy, and she would start killing everything in her way, until her death.

Millie was looking at her phone after having talked to Crowley. She believed him, and that meant she had to die. She was going to die, and that soon. Millie had thought a lot about it since she woke up from her latest trip to Hell, but now it was reality.

"I think Crowley might be right this time" Millie spoke up, not daring to look at her brothers, Bobby or Castiel who all sat in the living room. When Millie first decided to look up, she locked eyes with Bobby, "I think it's time". The others in the room didn't understand what was going on when Bobby started to refuse.

"I can feel it spreading" Millie stood up and walked over to Bobby, handing him a gun. "I know we both believed it never would have to come to this, but I need you to keep your promise" Millie said with tear in her eyes.

"Hey, hey, what's going on?" Dean was the first to speak up. Millie turned around to face her brothers and Castiel, "When Castiel saved us from Hell, I made Bobby promise to kill me if I wasn't myself anymore, and now I'm becoming something we're supposed to hunt".

"No one is killing anyone here" Sam spoke up now, he couldn't watch his sister die, he couldn't lose his sister once more.

"There is no other choice".
