CHAPTER 16- ENTRY OF THE EVIL

KIANA'S POV

Right now I was waiting in a cafe for the person who had called me yesterday, I was feeling very guilty as I had lied to Atharv saying that I am going to the library instead I came over here.

"Kiana" called out someone

I turned around to see that it was my mother. Yes it was my mother who had called me yesterday and begged me to meet her. I was in a huge dilemma but at last I decided to meet her

She came running to me and pulled me into a tight hug and started crying, even I stared crying as I was feeling her warmth after so many days.

"How are my child, you know , I and your father miss you a lot. Look at you , you have become so thin, doesn't Atharv take care of you" She said worriedly

"Mom I am perfectly fine and I also miss you both a lot and yes Atharv takes care of me like I am a glass doll" I said while wiping my tears.

"How is the baby" She asked softly

I was shocked hearing this question ,I thought she doesn't care about it, but after hearing this question I realized she care for my baby which made me feel very happy

"The baby is perfectly fine Mom" I said while giving her a wide smile

She smiled back and caressed my head

"Come Kiana let's sit and talk" She said

We took the corner table of the cafe as that area wasn't crowded much and we could talk without any disturbances

"I am sorry Kiana" She said apologetically

"Why Mom?"

"Because I tried to harm my grandchild" She said and cried

I could feel how much guilty she was

"Mom please don't cry , I know what you tried to do was something unforgivable but now that you are sorry about it I forgive you"

"Thank you so much beta" She sobbed more

I wiped her tears and made her drink some water. After a some time she was normal

"How is Atharv?" She asked

"He perfectly fine Mom, he is best husband I could ever get, , he does every single thing for me Mom . He loves me more than you can imagine" I said while a soft smile played on my lips thinking about him

"Husband? Did you guys marry eachother?" She asked all shocked

My eyes widened hearing her statement , I was feeling very guilty for not informing her about my marraige.

"Sorry Mom , I should have informed you but everything happened so quickly that I didn't get the time to tell you"

"It's ok my child, you did the correct thing, this society wouldn't have let you live if you had the baby before your marriage "

"Thank you so much Mom for understanding my situation "

"See Kiana everything is fine but what about your studies? Are you planning to become a housewife?"

"No mom Atharv has bought me many books to read and he has promised me to let me study once his financial condition improves "

"But Kiana don't you think that by the time he becomes financially stable it will be too late" She said worriedly

"See I am telling you from my experience, having a child is a huge responsibility, even you know I wanted to do PhD but then I got pregnant with you and after that it was impossible for me to study"
