Julian

" We are gather here today to remember . . . . . ."

Today was the day.

Both Jamis and Jamaya were quiet as we all were getting ready today our final goodbyes.

Sierra didn't even say a word to me none today.

That was expected since I was quiet these past couple of days.

To be quite honest I was completely out of it. I haven't even been recording like normally do.

I notice everyone was getting up leaving.

We had a burial site funeral.

" Ju you gone be good?" My cousin asked me.

I only nodded my head. Jamaya was with my mother but Jamis was only a couple of feet away.

I notice his shoulder trembling which made me get up.

I stood by him as he release tears. He stood up before he spoke to stare at me.

" Please don't leave us like dad" Jamie said

" I won't man . . . I promise" I engulfed him in a hug.

We stayed like that before we went back into the funeral cars.

I notice Sierra wasn't in here but Jamaya was holding Kiki.

My eyebrows furrowed together.

" Um she went with Mama J" Jamaya said noticing my confused face.

I slowly nodded my head before sitting  in the seat that was originally hers.

This was the last thing I needed.

Tension between us.

Sierra

I softly rubbed through Sincere hair as he was looking around.

" Can I please have my grandson ?" I looked up at my dad smirking.

" he needs to be fed"

That I came out rudely than I intended it to.

I was just a little frustrated at this silent treatment of Ju.

I heard him laughing at me.

" You need to go talk to him"

" Talk to who ?" I said mentally rolling my eyes.

I felt him pull up a chair by me.

"  He lost his father Sierra now I know he wasn't present in his life like that but it's still significant"

" So that gives him the excuse of giving me the cold shoulder?"

" No it does not . . . but he just needed a moment to realize that his father was really gone in the present and not because it was his choice but Gods"

" He is not able to speak to him or fully mend a relationship that was once broken like me and you have done"

" he won't be able to get that opportunity and I know that's what really bothering him because he thinks no one understands that"

As my dad spoke  it really made me realize that he felt as if he was alone.

" So that's why I want you to go over there to that lonely future husband of yours and talk"

I blushed a little knowing I would be calling him that soon.

" Okay" I said sighing.

I passed Sincere over to my dad who happy to take him away from me.
