Wedding Day

Sierra

I let out a breath as my dress was completely on.

" Baby you look gorgeous" Mal said as he fluffed my hair out.

It was indeed true.

" Wow" I said to myself in the mirror.

I was in a solid white mermaid dress that definitely showed off my belly.

" Julian is going to faint when he see you girl" Ices said smiling.

" Most definitely" Maya agreed.

" awwwl guys stop you are making me blush" I said fanning my face.

A knock came to the door.

" Hey ladies you have 2 minutes" The planner said.

" welp I guess it is time for us to go down the aisle" Ices said.

Her, Amber ( Ju cousin) , and Maya were my bridesmaids.

Everyone was out including Mal except for my mother.

I watch her reflection in the mirror as she smiled at me.

" Sweetheart I am so proud of you" she said walking up to me.

" Thank you mommy"

" Here I wanna give you something"

It was a pearl necklace she reveal to me

" This belong to your late grandmother that was giving by your great-grandmother"

" It represents a sign of long lasting marriage which I know you would have" she said placing it around my neck.

" Thank you this means a lot to me" I said clearing my throat.

I felt her kissed my cheek.

" Now go get ready to marry your husband Mrs. Westbrook"

I laughed a little gathering myself to stand-up.

In the other room

I walked around back and forth needing a minute to myself.

Here I was again going down the aisle.

" You got this" I said to myself.

This was wayyy different this time around.

I looked at myself dusting out a few wrinkles in the mirror. I was definitely not the same guy I was almost 2 years ago.

I am now a father of soon to be 3 kids and a big brother.

It crazy how life changed for me for the better.

Never thought I would be doing this again but here I am.

I felt that it was the right time to pray on this.

I bent my head to say prayer.

" Father God I know I don't come to you as much as I should do but I just ask that you give me the right guidance to be the best husband I can be for my wife and the best father to my kids"

" God I ask that you keep us all protected as we embark on this new journey of life. Give us both the strength to work through any issues that may come against us. Keep my family healthy and stable . . . In Jesus name I pray Amen"

A knock came to the door.

" It's time"

" Aight thanks"
