(Idk how often ima be updating this book, I only have two chapters completed so I'll update when I feel like it I guess?  I also don't know what I'm doing in this book so there's that. I have a better Ghost x reader published if y'all are more into that. Okay bye.)

I hopped out of the bus and looked around.

Becoming part of the army was never on my top ten list yet here I am.

Damn this place is huge!

Well it have to be if it's gonna fit all of us.

We got into line as Captain Price, Lieutenant Simon Ghost Riley, Sergeant John Soap Mctavish and Sergeant Garrick stood in front of us.

Wow! They look so cool!

"YOU!"

Everyone jumped as Ghost stormed over to me and got in my face.

"ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION!? THIS IS THE ARMY, NOT LALA LAND! PAY ATTENTION!" Ghost shouted, his spit hitting me in my face.

Holy shit!

"YES SIR, SORRY SIR!"

What the fuck is his problem?!

I wasn't day dreaming!

Price continued with his talk and soon we made our way into the building.

"This is your room." Soap smiled.

"Thank you, sir."

"Move it, soldier, we don't have all day." Ghost snapped as he walked past me.

God damn.

"Don't mind him. He'll ease up soon. Just show him what you're made of." Soap smiled.

"Thank you sir."

"How old are you, soldier?"

"23, sir."

"You're young. Do your best and you'll get far." Soap smiled.

"Thank you, sir."

"I'll see you in 15 for dinner." Soap waved left.

Wow!

He's so nice!

I will die for that man!

I got into my room and set up my bed.

There were 15 bunk beds on each side of the room which was buzzing with excitement.

I finished my set up and nodded.

Now I just have to make sure no bitch steals my stuff.

I made my way to the mess hall.

I got my food and sat down.

I looked up and saw the captain, lieutenant, and two sergeants sitting together at an empty table.

They weren't packed like the rest of us.

I made eye contact with Ghost and blinked.

He was glaring at me.

Shit, are we not allowed to look in their direction!?

I broke eye contact and looked at my tray of food.

I could feel his eyes burning holes into my body.

Why is he still staring at me!?

"God damn, he's really staring huh?"

I looked up at a girl next to me.

"What?"

"The lieutenant. He's really staring."

"Yeah. I don't know why. He yelled at me when I got here."

"I know, I saw. I felt bad for you. He's got a stick up his ass, let me tell you. Oh. My name is Jay by the way. My friend call me Jay Bird, so you can call me that too!"

"I'm YN."

"Imagine he has a crush on you?" She giggled and I blinked.

What is this girl on?

"I doubt it. He's just hates me."

"Well, I'll be here if you need to rant. I'm on the bed next to yours."

"Oh, that's cool."

"I know right? Oh, here he comes, act natural!" 

I watched Jay turn her attention to her food and I looked up to see Ghost walking over.

"You have limited time to eat. I  suggest you learn to eat instead of running your mouth so much."

"Sorry, sir..."

I looked down and began to eat.

"You talk to much." He turned and left the mess hall.

I sighed and finished my food before going to take a shower.
