"Good job!" Jay whispered and I ignored the blood dripping down my nose and chin.

"Thanks."

"NO TALKING! That's two hours, Private!"

Oh come on!

I was whispering, how did he hear!?

"Sorry, YN..." Jay whispered.

I didn't answer.

Ghost was glaring at me.

I watched as everyone left and I stood in place.

Soap watched me and looked at Ghost. He walked over to him and they started talking.

It looked like they were arguing.

Finally Soap sighed and gave me a smile before walking away.

He looked over his shoulder and I saw a look of pity on his face.

Then he disappeared behind the wall.

"Eyes up here Private." I turned back to look at Ghost and he had his arms crossed with a glare.

"Catching feelings for the Sergeant?"

"No! Of course not sir!"

"You better not. Follow me."

I followed him into a dark room and looked around. I winced as the bright lights turned on.

I caught sight of myself in the mirror and almost gasped.

My pained eye was purple, my nose had bled, leaving dry blood on my lips, chin and shirt.

My hair was all over the place and my face and clothes were cornered in dirt and dust.

"Are you don't checking yourself out, soldier?"

I turned away from the mirror and toward Ghost who was standing by some gear.

I hurried over and soon I was dressed in full gear.

Ghost handed me a BB gun and I took it slowly.

"Two hours. You have two hours to not get shot by me three times. If you fail, you're on bathroom cleaning duty as well."

I literally hate this man.

I hate him.

I hate him so much.

"Got a problem with that?"

"No, sir."

Yes.

Yes I do.

I hate this place.

I hate him.

"Go hide in the woods. You have ten minutes. If you manage to shoot me three times, I'll end your training early."

"Sir yes sir."

I turned and ran into the woods.

I looked around and panted softly.

My goggles were steaming up from my sweat.

How long have I been running for?

I need to find a place to hide.

I looked around and found some trees.

I ran over and let my BB gun hang off my side and I climbed up the tree.

Are the ten minutes over yet? Should I have kept running?

I saw him.

I couldn't hear any of his footsteps, no crushing of twigs or leaves, no nothing.

I licked my lips and watched him get closer.

I slowly lifted my gun and aimed.

He was looking for disturbances in the vegetation.

PEW!

Ghost ran behind s tree and I gulped.

I definitely got him, but now he knows my rough location.

I pressed my back against the tree trunk and a BB bullet flew past me.

I held my breath as a few more flew past me but I stayed silent.

I need to get out of here.
