34. Yup

I stared up at the blue sky.

My downstairs area hurt.

And now the rest of my body hurts too.

Thanks to the one and only Ghost.

He flipped, pounced, kicked, punched, choked, and twisted me.

"Get up, Private."

"Yes sir." I got to my feet shaking and was dismissed back to formation.

After all the work we did, it was down time.

I sat down against the wall and took my phone out to text Simon.

You there?

Yeah. I just got done with a business meeting.

Oh, busy boy, huh?

How did you spend last night?

I turned red and giggled.

I looked up as Ghost walked past me on his phone.

He looked down at me and I blushed harder.

He kept walking and turned the corner.

I'm so embarrassed! I slept with my lieutenant! I don't think that's allowed! Is that allowed? Am I gonna get kicked out of the military!?

Not if you keep quiet. Was he at least good?

Oh, absolutely! I knew it was supposed to feel good, but I didn't know it would be that good! I didn't think it would feel like that! I heard it's hard to get to that point! I'm pretty sure I passed out or something!

You seem happy.

I don't know how I'll work with him from now on but it's whatever. I'm was a one time thing. I doubt it'll happen again.

I can't. I'm busy.

You're always to busy to FaceTime. You're acting as if I haven't seen your masked face before.

Yeah yeah. Break time is over. I'll text you tonight if I have the chance.

I put my phone away and went back to training.

At dinner, Jay and I were called into Price's office.

"LN. Amber. You two will be tested tonight." Price smiled and I glanced at the four men standing in front of us.

My eyes lingered on Ghost.

He looked uninterested in me so I looked back at Price.

"What kind of test?" Jay asked.

"You two will be sent to stop a small terrorist group."

"Sir, are you sure we're ready?" I asked shocked.

"That's what we're going to find out tonight. Gear up. Wheels up in ten. You're dismissed."

Jay an I left and went into our room. We got dressed in silence.

We were scared shitless.

(Sorry for taking so long to update. I'm not losing interest in the book, I'm just busy writing my own book. As in, not a fanfic. It's a bit difficult because I actually wanna get this book published with some big name company. Wish me luck! It's not looking so good right now 😂)
