Last year's flowers
Fade into the backs of my memory,Long past is that hour
Of false glory.Gone yet not too far are the petals that wilted with such delight,
But it was only seconds before the sudden wind swept up and took flight.Woe to the heart lying a hand stretch away from brokenness,
To the immense walking path of treachery and decisiveness. The doom that left my hopes impaled,
Years forgotten, seconds to unveilIt's very own hidden tragedies,
To such immensity I believed it was comedy!Salute to last year's flowers,
So far away and faded to sepia is that hour.
