It's been you
Before I even knew,
It's been there all along
Even when my heart couldn't sing a song
Of love
In the midst of dust,
If I only knew who was coming my way,
Maybe I wouldn't have seen the lessons in those days,
But maybe I could have been spared a little pain,
Though I've never been stronger than the moments in the rain.
Waiting for the moment it all comes together at the cross,
His plan for each of our lives will be greater than what we've lost.
