Though I've been moving on,
It happens that it feels too long,
But even then you're still gone.

My heart kept but refrain
From going back to memories in chains.
Though I've been trying to say my goodbyes
I can't keep it all inside,
The tears have engraved my mind.
Though I wake up sometimes from a dream,
It's your face and your name still reminding me
Of all that we could have had and all that was lost.
Just for a bit I was still hoping,
This much time after I'm still coping,
But when I pause I find a light in my heart glowing
Till I remember that I lost you time after time,
Then I think I won't ever give up my heart twice,
But that's a lie,
Because when I look at you, I love you all over again.
