Ashleigh was sitting in the canteen when Jake saw her shoving some pieces of paper into her jacket...

"Too late. I saw them." Jake said.

"Saw what?" Asked Ashleigh.

"Your free lunch tickets. Sucks being poor." Jake says.

"Uh, I'm... I'm not poor. I actually... doesn't matter; they're not for me." Ashleigh tells him.

"Hmm." Jake mumbled, nodding his head.

"They're not. Fine. An old student here hit me over the head and shoved me in a locker, leaving me for dead... but luckily Sam and your brother Puck found me. I got a lot of money out of this place." Ashleigh says.

"What? No way. Someone tried to kill you?" Jake asked.

"Yep. That's how I know how to defend myself. I took up boxing after that happened; I wasn't gonna let someone do it to me again." Ashleigh muttered.

"That's good. At least you can definitely defend yourself. Anyway, not all of us can be rich. I take extra shifts to pay for my dance lessons." Jake tells her.

"Wait, you can dance?" Ashleigh asked.

"Let's keep that between us." Jake says.

Brittany and Blaine sat on the other side of the canteen, staring at Ashleigh and Jake. Or, more like, Blaine was glaring at him.

"Oh, young love." Brittany says.

"No. Just no, Brittany. She's with me, remember? Do you remember when you first dated Santana and I started dating Ashleigh? Everything was so much simpler. We had so much more hope and innocence. Every day was just like Valentine's Day." Blaine murmured.

"We're still young. And I know how much you love Ashleigh and how much Ashleigh loves you... you shouldn't worry about those two. They're just friends." Said Brittany.

With Rachel, she came out of her bedroom, seeing Kurt at the cooker...

"Hey." Rachel says.

"Somebody slept late. It's lunchtime. Do you want a croque, madame?" Asked Kurt.

"We didn't go to bed till late." Rachel says, signing loudly and tying her dressing gown.

"Thank God for earplugs. I love you both, but I don't want to hear any of that." Kurt mumbled.

"We didn't do anything. He didn't even talk to me. We just, like, laid there." Rachel tells him.

Kurt sees Finn coming out of the bedroom.

"I'm gonna take this down to the park and watch drug deals go down, and maybe call Ashleigh. It's good to see you again, Finn." Kurt tells him.

"You too, little brother. Tell Ashleigh hi from me." Finn says.

"Um, are you hungry? Can I make you some eggs?" Rachel asked.

"Yeah. Thanks. This place is awesome." Finn said.

"It's not the, uh, ideal neighbourhood, but... at least we can sort of see Manhattan. I can't do this, Finn. I don't understand. I don't know what's going on. Why are you here, and why aren't you in your uniform?" Asked Rachel.
