chapter 2: into the night

The next morning Conner, Greg, Amaya, Ivan, and Newton were heading to school

Ivan: I wonder what school has in store for us today

Newton: who know

But they were surprised to see teacher outside the school's gate and on the gate was like police tape telling people to not enter

Amaya: uh teacher what is going on here

Teacher: Sorry kids but for now school is closed

Greg: why is it closed

Teacher: see for yourself

They looked through the gates and were surprised by what they were seeing. The outside tables and the playground were broken into pieces, the basketball nets were bent, and the school had holes through the bricks

Conner: wow that is serious damage

Teacher: and it also turned out that four people just mysteriously disappeared over night

Amaya: just disappeared

Teacher: yeah the four went to bed in their homes but when morning came they just disappeared. he said before he left

Newton: a night time villain did this

Ivan: but who would be evil enough to cause such destruction and kidnap people

Greg: well one way to find out

Conner: Power heroes were on our way. he said as he put his fist in

All: into the night to save the day. they said as Amaya, Greg, Ivan, and Newton put their fists in too

Later all six appeared in their space HQ and are looking over the city as they are noticing some more things got damaged or destroyed

Catboy: who is causing all the destruction

An Yu: it is most puzzling

Owlette: I am more worried about the people that went missing

Gekko: first I say we see who is causing the destruction and stop them and then get the people

Ice Cub: nice idea buddy

Newton Star: lets go find them

All six then went into vehicles and went to their city and when they landed they got out of the vehicles and went on foot. After a little bit of looking they heard sounds of things getting hit and went to them. When they arrived they were surprised to see it was some monsters one looked like a zebra, another looked like a squid, and the rest had things like giant ninja stars on their back.

Catboy: what the heck are they

Gekko: I don't know

Ice Cub: but they are the ones that made the mess at school

Owlette: hey what are you doing. she shouted a little and the monsters turned around and looked at them

An Yu: I think that was a bad idea

Newton Star: but they don't look so tuff so we can take them

After he said that the monsters started to run towards them so the power heroes did the same. A little ways away, Xaviax and Romeo were watching the battle.

Xaviax/human: Those six little kids are the power heroes you told me about. he said in a mixture of surprised and are you kidding me voice

Romeo: they may not look like much but they always managed to win over me and the other villains

Xaviax/human: still beating those six will be easy

While that was going on, somewhere else three friends, two boys and a girl, were sitting around, talking, and having some food and then they heard a deep whistling sound that the others couldn't hear and they knew what it was. They then stood up with shocked faces to hear that sound.

???1 (smallest boy): that couldn't be what i think that is could it

???2 (tallest boy): I believe so but I don't know how

???3 (girl): still we should check it out, people could be in trouble. she said as the boys agreed

???1: but should we tell the others first

???2: for now we should check it out, we don't want to worry them if it turns out to be nothing

The trio then went to a place where no one was around and there was a giant glass window. Then one at a time they entered the window and they just went right into it not like how a burglar would enter a window.
