chapter 9: talking to a friend

Last time they encountered Xaviax and managed to escape, but Gekko got scared about getting vented and left the team.

Gekko managed to get back to his city (how he did, I will leave it to you) and was now walking down a street looking down with a sad and scared look on his face as he can't stop thinking about getting vented

Gekko: I really want to help you guys, but I am just too scared about getting vented. he said in his head as he kept walking

A little bit later he heard the deep whistle and then he looked to his left and in a big glass window he saw sting's advent beast. Gekko then took a rock that was close to him and threw it at the window causing it to break into pieces. (lucky no one came to see what made that because everyone was fast asleep)

Gekko: leave me alone, go and bother someone else, I kind of told the other I was leaving this to them. he said to the advent beast hoping it heard him and then Gekko ran from it

Meanwhile with the others, most of them, mostly the four power heroes, kept wondering if they should of let Gekko go. Then Owlette came to Eubulon to talk to him.

Owlette: master Eubulon

Eubulon: what's up Owlette

Owlette: are you sure it was a good idea to let Gekko go

Eubulon: I asked you five to become riders and help, I am not wanting to force him to do something he doesn't want to do

Owlette: will his advent beast really not leave him alone

Eubulon: one contracted you are stuck with the beast till either vented or given to another person, right now all I hope is that Gekko will come to his senses and think about this. he said as an alarm went off

Eubulon: what's going on Trent. he said as the others came

Trent: Xaviax has appeared again. he said as the others saw him on the screen in his armor

Eubulon: thanks, riders lets all go take care of him

Kit: are you sure about all of us

Eubulon: Xaviax is powerful so we will all go. he said as the others agreed and then went into a nearby mirror

A little bit later all of them came face to face with Xaviax, and he turned around and faced them.

Xaviax: I was wondering when you would show up, but where is the last one. he said as he saw there was one missing

Adam: he is dealing wit something else right now

Len: and we are enough to take care of you. he said as they all did the transformation sequence and then started to fight him

Back with Gekko, he stopped running and sat on a bench by a lake. A little bit after he sat down he heard the deep whistle and knew a monster was on the loose.

Gekko: just ignore it Gekko, the others will take care of it. he said as he put his hands by his head as to try to block the sound from reaching his ears.

A little bit later he removed his hands from the sided to his head and relaxed for a bit. Then he heard a familiar voice call him

????:Gekko. Gekko flinched a bit but then he saw who said that

Gekko: Luna. he said as he came to her and hugged her which she returned (remember Luna is in her new form for the power heroes season)

Luna: I have been looking for you everywhere, where have you and the other heroes been, it has been quiet without you and lucky no villains did anything bad

Gekko: it is a long story and it is a little crazy

Luna: you can tell me

Gekko: ok. he said as he lead Luna to the bench he was on and then told her everything that happened from the beginning

Luna: wow that is a lot, and I can't believe you became scared

Gekko: I know and I also know I would be saved eventually but it still scares me

Suddenly the deep whistle happened again and both Gekko and Luna heard it

Luna: I am guessing that is the sound that alerts you. she said as Gekko was a little surprised

Gekko: you heard that. he asked as she shook her head yes

They then looked at the water and in it they saw Sting's advent beast again (they saw it in the water because it is also a reflected surface) and Luna was a little scared of it

Luna: is that the beast that keeps bothering you. she said as he held Gekko's arm showing that she was scared a bit

Gekko: yeah I don't think it will hurt you, and it also wont leave me alone. he said as he yelled the last part

After he said that, the advent beast then started to go around in a circle making like a cyclone and in the middle of it they saw the others fighting Xaviax and they were not doing so well.

Luna: so they are the other riders and your friends and this Xaviax

Gekko: yeah and they are not doing so well against him

Luna: you have to go help them

Gekko: I am still scared and I don't stand a chance if i fight him by myself

Luna: if you don't do something, your friends are in bug trouble. she said as Gekko wondered what to do

That is it for this chapter. Gekko made it back to his city and met up with his girlfriend (yes they are a thing in this story) and now he needs to help his friends who are losing a fight against Xaviax.
