Eli looked over at Maeve to see her fully concentrating on the movie and taking in each scene and character. She looked so beautiful.
"About three things I was absolutely positive about: First, Edward was a vampire." The camera showed Bella laying in bed.
"Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood." The sound of Bella Swan's voice echoed the room as she stared over at Edward from her bedroom window, he was already looking up at her.
"And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him."
Eli suddenly flinched as he felt Maeve grab ahold of his hand. He was quite shocked at first but eventually let her.
When she let go after a couple of minutes, her attention went back to the movie as Eli flexed his hand. He wished she'd never let go of him, it felt right for once.
He spent the rest of the movie waiting and hoping for Maeve to grab his hand again but it never happened. Was she embarrassed? Maybe she felt too embarrassed to do it again?
It took everything in him to not kiss her but he wanted to so desperately. He'd never wanted something so much in his entire life and hoped she felt the same way.
The feeling wasn't greedy or anything like that, it was lustful. He hadn't stopped thinking about her ever since her lips touched his and he'd do anything to get that to happen again.
His body ached from not having the connection with her anymore. It was painfully obvious that he was desperate for her. For her touch, her lips, her love.
