As Maeve got ready for the concert, she turned on her TV and continued to rewatch The Bear. It was currently her favourite show and 100% not to do with the fact that Jeremy Allen White is in it.
She was extremely excited to be going to see The Cure live as it was one of her favourite bands. She'd never seen them live before so this was a pretty big deal.
Just as she began putting on her lipstick, the door suddenly knocked, making her jump slightly before she got up to answer it.
"You ready to go?" Eli asked her softly, not wanting her to feel rushed.
"Nearly, you can come in and wait." She told him before going back to putting on lipstick.
He looked down at her outfit and felt his heart race quicker than usual. She looked absolutely stunning and he was completely speechless.
His eyes glanced around the room before noticing she was watching something on TV. "What're you watching?" He asked.
"The Bear, it's about chefs." Maeve tried to explain to him. "Hot chefs." She added, causing him to laugh.
Elijah took a seat on the sofa and watched the show as Maeve finished her makeup before they started to leave for the show.

As they arrived at the venue, there was already people waiting outside, so they joined the queue and tried their best not to get recognized.
Once the doors opened, everyone started rushing in and getting checked by the security. It felt scary at first but once they were inside, Maeve felt at ease.
The lights eventually dimmed soon enough, the band entered the stage causing the crowd to cheer and scream.
Eli had his arm around her shoulder for most of the night but she didn't mind whatsoever, it made her feel safe.
Suddenly, the song changed and instantly went into Friday I'm In Love which sent to crowd wild. Maeve grabbed Elijah's hands and started to dance with him.
I don't care if Monday's blue, Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too, Thursday, I don't care about you.
"It's Friday, I'm in love!" Everyone screamed the lyrics.
Monday, you can fall apart, Tuesday, Wednesday, break my heart, Thursday doesn't even start.
"It's Friday, I'm in love!"
