"You say you can prove you are who you say you are?" Silver said questioningly.
"Yes. If you'll allow me to explain." She confirmed.
Silver simply nodded signalling that she wished for her to continue speaking, she was still wary of the woman and kept her guard up in case this was some ploy to get her when she lowered her defences.
"My father is Peter Parker. Although you may know him better as Spider-Man." She revealed her fathers identity shocking Silver to her core.
"S-Spider-Man... he's your father." She repeated completely stunned by the admission.
"Yes, I'm... not sure if you knew of his real identity yet but he is my father." She acknowledged.
Silvers mind was racing, she had long since been infatuated with the wall crawling hero of New York and longed for the day in which she could pursue a more romantic relationship with him. But the time was never right and the only chance she had at even revealing her feelings was squashed... seemingly inadvertently... by that very same man.
But there was no way anyone could have ever known that tidbit of information, it was something she kept in strictest confidence and locked deep down inside herself never to see the light of day. It was virtually impossible for anyone to guess that she was even interested in having any form of serious relationship, yet here this woman stood, claiming to be her daughter, with the man she had secretly loved.
Those odds were astronomical to say the least, if for any other reason, finding out more about her relationship with Spider-Man from this woman was the only reason she continued to listen. Silver figured that was way she started with it first... it was a way to draw her in and keep her listening.
"Please. Continue." She said composing herself.
"Right. I'm guessing you want to know how all this began?" She assumed.
"It would certainly make things clearer for me, yes." Silver agreed.
"Okay. Well... it all started when the two of you stopped that bomb in New York during the Symkarian parade." She began to tell Silver of how her parents relationship started.
Flashback
Peter had been frantically searching for a bomb somewhere in the city, a bomb that if detonated would wipe New York off the face of the Earth.
The bomb was supposedly made by a group known as ULTIMATUM, and their goal is the complete eradication of any world government and detonating a bomb in one of the most populated cities was going to be their launch point.
Peter knew what was at stake, he knew who had the bomb, but with such a densely populated city it was difficult for him to find any sign of the ones he was looking for.
It was when he had swung right across Main Street that a new thought occurred.
'Where would they detonate a bomb? Well... why not at a world parade where a certain member of foreign royalty is in attendance. Destroying two nations leading government figures at once.' He thought as he witnessed the scores of people gathered for the Symkarian parade.
'If this is where they setting up the bomb, then I need to look around any place inconspicuous but still close enough to the parade.' His thoughts trailed as his eyes scanned over the immediate area.
"Well... whatd'ya know, they don't look like there setting up confetti poppers back there." He mused to himself as he watch three men dressed in black hurdle down to the ground like they were inspecting something.
Firing off a web line he quickly swung towards the men in question, hoping that he was right and putting a stop to their plan.
While swinging over to the area the men had hidden themselves away, Peter swung directly overhead of the parade and although not many people would be observant enough to see Spider-Man swinging on high, Silver Sablinova was not one of those people.
