Chris

"You never told me what you had to say."

Mika caught me as I was about to get in her shower. Today is Friday and I'm supposed to be making my way over to Savon's for dinner. This was my last night at Mika's spending time like this, at least till I finish this album.

"I don't know how else to say this, so I'm just going to be honest. I'm seeing someone right now."

Mika folded her arms up to her chest thrown off, "what do you mean? Who is she?"

"You wouldn't know her. I know you and I been spending a lot of time together, I didn't want you to get confused."

"Confused... Are you serious? First, I have to deal with you getting another woman pregnant, then in between waiting for the baby to come you're here at my house, then over there at hers. When are you going to be able to focus on only me? None of these women can't give you what I give you, if they could you wouldn't be dragging your ass back here to me every single time."

"At least I'm a decent enough nigga to tell you what's going on. I don't want to hurt you Mika, I still --."

"Still what, I know you weren't about to say you still love me. You had no problem whispering that in my ear when you were hunched on my back not that long ago."

"I'll go," I said reaching for the nozzle for the water.

"No, go head and finish your shower. Thank you for letting me know, I'll see you right back in my bed in a few months when the shit doesn't work out. You're so unbelievable," she said closing the door behind her.

Mika and I haven't had sex since I started dealing with Savon so I don't know what she mad about. I haven't even alluded to anything serious going on between us. I didn't want to tell her, but I don't need to lie. Especially since Mika will ride for me no matter what I do. Why not just come clean?

Mika was mad, but that didn't stop her from still trying to take what she could from me. On my way out, she did her same routine while saying goodbye but gave me a kiss on the lips this time. I didn't correct her, I should have. But I didn't see it much of a big deal since it ain't like she jumped on me and I was heading to throw her down on the bed. I walked right out and headed to Savon's for dinner.

There was a gorgeous lambo truck in the driveway, at least Savon friend got some good taste. Before I knocked on the door, I could smell the good food coming through from the other side.

"Hey, you made it!" Savon smiled as she greeted me with a hug.

I embraced her close as I ran my palm down the curvature of her behind, I gave her quick smooch transferring her lip gloss on to my lips. "Told you I would give you my word."

"Chris this is my best friend, Zara. Zara, this is..."

"Trust me, I don't need an introduction. It's nice to meet you." Zara shook my hand.

"I wasn't expecting you this soon, I thought I had at least another forty minutes. The macaroni and cheese is almost done, I'm just going to go upstairs really quick and freshen up. I know she want to grill you anyways, I'll be right back."

Zara watched Savon tread up the stairs as she waited to fire up her questions. We were off on the side in the kitchen as we waited for her to return.

"This shit is not good." Zara palmed her head.

"Excuse me?"

"I don't have much time to get into it, but I didn't know that Savon was creeping with you. I mean, working with you. Had I known I probably would have been able to warn her much sooner."
