"Ora fermatevi ragazzi, si sta confondendo!" Caleb says.

Translation: Now stop guys! She is getting confused.

The unknown person walks towards me. Everybody becomes quiet as he looks at me.

"Hey Alessia, I am Vincint; your eldest brother and legal guardian. I know you didn't want to have one but I hope you will learn everything soon. Welcome Back to your home!'' there was a stoic expression on his face. The same calmness that was in that painting.

"I hope your day was good. You have met 5 of your brothers now." he says now with a gentle smile.

I just nod and try to smile but my smile never came to my lips. I know they would be thinking I am rude. I know, because their ways and expectations are different from Sir leo. He never wanted me to smile, so I mastered the art of not smiling. Or maybe the smile never came in the first place. But these men have different expectations. They want me to give replies. Or maybe I am not understanding.

"Soon it will be time for dinner but before that I want you to come to my office," he says again. After that he went away.

Sir William looked at me and guided me towards a beautiful pathway. The pathway unfolds like a journey through opulence within the mansion. Lined with elegant statues and beautiful paintings, it winds gracefully toward a set of imposing double doors. As we approach, the click of our shoes on the polished marble resonates in the air.

"You wait here angel, I will call you after a while," William says.

As I was waiting, the numbness of my legs was causing me to lose my balance again. I tried to stay still but soon fell down on the floor. A woman (worker) was coming towards me with a juice glass. Due to the collision, the juice fell on me. There was a large wet stain on my dress now. She became extremely puzzled.

"I am sorry, I am sorry my lady, I didn't mean to make this mistake! Please forgive me!" She offered me a cloth so that I can dry my dress. I stood up from the ground and held the cloth in my hand. "Thank you. It was my mistake, you can go and carry on your work," I said. She left the place immediately. I tried to dry my dress. Then I waited just in front of the room's door where Sir William went.

After a while the doors swing open, revealing an expansive office that seamlessly blends luxury with an unmistakable dark flair. Dark mahogany wood dominates, from the intricately carved desk to the bookshelves lining the walls. Soft, muted lighting casts a warm glow, accentuating the richness of the surroundings.

The office exudes authority, with leather-clad chairs and a large, imposing desk that commands attention. On its surface, an array of high-end gadgets shares space with carefully arranged documents. The air carries the faint aroma of aged leather and cigar smoke, hinting at an environment that transcends mere luxury.

Behind the desk sits Sir Vincint, looking like a figure of power and control. The room, though adorned with lavish furnishings, exudes an aura of calculated intimidation. He was looking at some papers and when I looked to my right side, Dante was also standing there. I was shocked to see him there. Then he went outside. Sir Vincint finally looks at me and points towards the chair behind. He was telling me to sit. His face was calm. I could not really understand his expressions.

"So Alessia, you are finally here. After so many years. I still remember when Mom took you away, Well we will discuss it another time. For now I wanted to tell you that I have received some information about you but I can't believe a random officer unless you confirm it." he says.

I was terrified, what if he had known about my impurity. What if he has received information about me being broken? What will I do now!! Oh God!! Please don't do this to me! Please!

"I will ask you some questions, and you have to reply with honesty," he says with a certain intensity in his voice.

I nod my head.

"Did you leave the school 2 years ago?"

I nod in a Yes and his expressions are now a little serious.

"Did you have fights in school?"

I think he is asking when I was bullied. How did he get that information? But I nod my head again.

"Have you stolen anything recently?" he asks. William was also standing next to him now. There was an expression on his face as if he was disappointed.

"Give me an answer!" he says, now a little frustrated as if I was confirming something really bad. How can he know that I stole those medicines? I can't even bring them with me. But I cannot lie. I have to speak the truth only, so I just nod again.

"I already knew it!" a sudden female voice comes from behind. I could not turn back because my legs and back were hurting again.

"Mia, please go outside. We are discussing something really important." William says.

"Aghhh.. Okay... Going..." she says annoyingly.

When she goes outside, Sir William closes the door. I became conscious. My brain was not ready for anything. As I was thinking this, Vincint stood up. He came towards me and I didn't know what to do. I could not even escape as the door was locked. He suddenly handed me a paper.

"I know you may have done many things in the past but we don't wanna embarrass you by going into details. The thing is that now you are in Marino House and there are certain rules you have to follow here. Keep them in mind. Read this paper and ask me if you don't understand anything." he says with a suppressed frustration.

I read the paper. I was happy that finally I have the rules in my hand. Now I don't have to guess their expectations. Sir Leo had already given me rules so it was easy to follow all the orders.But yeah he never gave me a paper in advance, he only gave me punishments when I broke any unknown rule and then it was added to my mind's rules list forever. I am also thankful to God that they probably didn't get to know about my impurity, I know the officer already warned me.

I look at the rules.

"Never Say NO to your brothers' orders. They are for your own safety''

"And Do not Question your brother's orders"

"Do not whine or cry without a reason"

"Never go outside the mansion unless one of your brothers is with you"

"Never raise your voice at your brothers and no cursing"

"No more boys and no Physical fights"

"You have to give verbal responses"

I knew most of them. I knew, yeah.. They are all Sir Leo's rules. Most of them are.. I read a note written below "If you break any of these rules, there will be punishments. The severity of punishment depends on the severity of your mistake. We really hope it would never be a case"

"So you understand everything?," He (Vincint) asked.

"Yes Sir" I replied.

He stays still for a moment and then looks towards William.

"Ha detto che si sente a suo agio nel chiamarci SIR," William says to Vincint.

Vincint sighs a little and goes outside.
