Chapter 3

     The teacher glared at me i finally spoke good morning sir sorry im late there was a traffic i said trying to remain calm

     Oh? Are you the new student the teacher said i nod.

     Oh then welcome he smiled and i then walk towards to him and i then gave the folder that my father said to give it to my teacher my teacher gtab the folder and look through it

     Ah i see nice to meet you layla lexington is it okay if you introduce yourself? I nod and look at all my new classmates and i said

     Good morning everyone my name is layla lexington. Which school you use to go too? My teacher said interrupting me. Oh my old school is called riverdale high school sir.

     ''Okay then.'' Everyone eyes are on me and it's making me nervous

     Sit there layla sir gilbert said and i did what he said i sit down at the chair that is beside by the window

     Okay everyone were gonna have a test oh and layla its okay if you got a low score since you just got here so it won't be your fault since you didn't know there will be a test sir gilbert said

     Wow test in the first day of school this is so so so really ''amazing'' i just nodded hey atleast he won't blame me everyone looks at me i think they are laughing at me.

     Sir gilbert handed the test and when i looked at the test i was suprise i knew all of it since i learn this all in online i smiled and started answering.

     The time was 7:45am and im already done i was looking around who was done too and i notice a guy he was finish too his blonde hair and his blue and green mix eyes he looks beautiful what am i thinking?

     It was finally 8:20am i was just doodling on my paper to pass the time and then sir gilbert collect all the papers to check it he was on the desk checking all the papers everyone wait patiently

     It was 8:25am now and he was done i was impress he checked really fast he then stands up and spoke

     Okay class im gonna tell all your scores and im kinda impress by someone sir gilbert said

     Okay so Mason got 40 out of 40 he got perfect everyone stared at the blonde guy and someone said im not even suprise he is the top 1 a guy said and someone said too as i expected of mason charles he got perfect a girl said i looked at the blonde guy who crosses his arms acting like he already knows he got perfect so his name is mason charles interesting... and then my teacher interrupted the talking layla lexington got 40 out 40 too so she got perfect everyone stared at me shocked

     I was suprise and smiled brightly everyone was really shocked i even caught mason side eyeing me and raise his eyebrow he looks confuse

     So congrats to mason and layla who got perfect and layla im suprise you got perfect i thought you will get a low score since your new here but i shouldn't have underestimated you easily he said smiling i smiled really happy i got perfect

    Looks like you got a competition mason a random guy said layla lexington is your rival he chuckles i looked at the both of them the random guy was nudging mason while Mason looks irritated while mr gilbert just keep going saying the other people's score and finally the class was done

     Okay class it's 8:30 now please wait for your other teacher miss rina will be here any minute so goodbye class and sir gilbert went out of the door.

     Everyone starts talking to mason while i just sit there welp this is gonna be pretty lonely mason seems really popular im not even suprise smart and has good looks no wonder why he's popular i don't know any of these people i only know mason since i heard a guy said he's top 1 a girl interrupt everyone talking everybody! Miss rina is absent so we have a free period she said excitedly and everyone was happy great what am i suppose to do for 1 hour?

     A girl then walk towards to me and said to me so layla lexington how does it feel having the same score with our top 1? everyone's gaze were at me i was nervous i don't know what to say. I- uhmm.. I went silent not knowing what to say and then a guy said leave her alone April i looked at the guy it was the same guy who told mason he has a competition i was thankful for him

     Calm down carson i was just asking her a small question she smiles

     So his name is carson and that girl name's is april i finally know 3 people in this room my dad said there's 39 of them so i didn't know 36 people yet in this room.

     Everyone was gushing how the new student got perfect and might be the mason competition mason was irritated because of this and he finally spoke after being silent

     Just because that girl got perfect in just a one easy test doesn't mean she's gonna be the new top one everyone. 6 people here got 39 scores which they have a chance to get perfect so stop acting like she's kind of special brainiac. Mason said slowly he sound annoyed and I was piss because of his comment about me i then spoke

      Im sorry that i irritated you just because i got the same scores as you and because there's someone who might probably replace you? I say annoyed and i narrow my eyes and cross my arms

    Mason looked at me and then he stands up he was holding a stack of paper and he was walking towards me and i feel like he's gonna threw a paper at me he's finally infront of me he's tall for his age and then he lifts my chin up with the paper he's holding and i was suprise he's forcing me to look him in the eyes

     If your so sure that you can challenge me then that's really bold of you i have to say and you think you can win so easily huh? You don't know what are you doing princess so think again about what decisions your making right now. Everyone was watching silently and i was fucking annoyed of his arrogance and then he went back to his seat and act nothing happened

     I looked at him anger is written all over my face i swear im gonna beat him and steal the precious top 1 title away from him i then sit back down in my seat and everyone was back from their seat and whispering

     Im fucked.
