Chapter 38

Rosabella's Pov
Today my brothers and cousins were taking me and Alex out so that we got spend some together as we've been through a lot of late and l insisted we take Alexa along because as much as l don't want anything to do with them she still means something to my brothers
My brothers took us to the park for a picnic and it was so my fun playing football Xavier , Maximus , Emiliano , Ernesto ,Elonzo , Leone and Leonardo were a team while Nicolo , Nikolai, Luciano , Lucien Alex ,Alexa and me were also a team and we were losing miserable until l faked injury and of course my eldest brothers all turned their attention to me and we scored
After playing for a while and of course a lot of cheating from my side they took us to mall and we all had our favourite dishes and later had a lot of ice cream
Alexa looked really down and l really felt sorry for her so when she left for the washroom l decided to join her so that l can make sure she's okay
I heard sniffles coming from the washroom
"Are you okay Alexa " l asked walking near her
"I miss them ,l've often heard that you can't miss what you never had but l miss them" she said and l understood what she meant
"They are still your brothers as well Alexa "l said as l held her hand to reassure her
"You should have seen them when you left with mom it was like they lost their will to leave and hated everything nothing could cheer them up "she said
"They love you too" l reassured her even though deep down am not sure they'll ever forget or forgive what she did to Xavier
"We both know they might never forgive me and l guess it's high time l cut my loses and moved on with my life "
"What do you mean" l asked confused
"It's time l go home Rosabella" she said giving me a smile that didn't reach her eyes
"And where is home"
"Where my family is " she said and l smiled because she is finally willing to give her family a chance
I may hate the Rossi family but Alexa deserves to know her family without me or anyone else influencing her decision
"And if it doesn't work out l want you to know that this will always be your home as much as it is mine " l said honestly
"You make them genuinely happy Rosabella and you are a really lucky girl to have them in your life and for what it's worth l wish you nothing but the best in life "
"Thank you Lex and l wish you nothing but the best too" l said giving her a hug
"Life is short Ella and you've got to live it don't let your past stand in the way of your future" she said
"I really like our nicknames for each other they're unique" l said and we both laughed
