Q: How much of yourself did you use to create Allison?
Snow: I'd like to think that I have a lot in common with Allison, but we have some dissimilarities. 1) I can't stand reading or writing poetry which is a huge thing for her. 2) My family is completely opposite of hers. 3) I don't care about school AS MUCH as she does. 4) I could never ever be as bold as she is, etc. But we both love us some Backstreet Boys ;)

Allison: (laughs nervously)
Q: Did Forbidden Literature ever have a different title in the beginning?
Snow: Surprisingly, no. When I sat down to write the book the title just kind of came to me. It's their relationship (which is forbidden) plus the sort of theme that keeps popping up (literature). So I just combined it and there it is. I don't plan on changing it either.
