Misato's Apartment
Several days prior
The two flatmates wound up handling the dishes -- Shinji because he volunteered, Misato after a highly complex tournament of papers-scissors-rock. When they started bickering about something over by the sink, Kaji leaned in towards the Doctor. "So you really have a lock on all the surveillance in here."
"Hmm?" The Doctor glanced up. "I said I did, didn't I?"
Kaji glanced over his shoulder. "What about the hidden cameras in the bath?" he whispered.
The Doctor sighed and rubbed his eyes. "I couldn't just cut the feed. That would've drawn too much attention. As for censorship, well... you try explaining the nudity taboo to a penguin."
Kaji nodded. Word had it that certain individuals within Security were quite proud of that particular source of footage. Someday, he thought darkly, he'd see to it that certain individuals -- at the very least -- lost certain teeth.
"In the meantime, probably best not to tell them, eh?" the Doctor muttered. "Especially the captain."
"Do I look suicidal to you?"
