Everyone in the office had been quick to duck for cover when they saw the angry look on Marko Villafuente's handsome face. He had slammed out of his office just a few seconds after Lily had left.

Now, it doesn't really take a rocket scientist to guess what had happen.

Ever since Miss Lily Chu had started working in the company, things had been really interesting. Some of the older employees would say the office is battlefield between these two people but the younger ones were really enjoying all of the fireworks.

In fact, seeing their boss in such a mood has been a normal occurrence lately. The state of mood would depend on the situation.

If he was grumbling he was mildly annoyed. If there was that chilling look on his face; similar to what he has right now; it means he had just argued with Miss Lily and he lost.

AGAIN.

Everyone found it hilarious that he couldn't seem to win any sort of argument that they would have.

Some of the staff had even started to take in bets on who would win the next argument. As disloyal as it may seem, people were betting more on Miss Lily winning than they did with their boss.

Besides, everyone adores her because she is unlike some of the President's former girlfriends. She's kind and sweet. She seems really smart for someone who; according to the President; is supposed to be uneducated.

They knew for a fact that she was bored to tears. So if a couple of their files goes missing they would always turn a blind eye to it. Besides, those files would always turn up as magically as it disappeared.

Patrick has certainly notice her unique intelligence but he couldn't understand why his employer was dead-set on leaving her with nothing to do. He had seen her all of her work. Honestly, he was impressed. Her recommendations to some of the problems were extraordinary. The girl could do so much wonders if the boss would just put her brains to good use. He had also discovered her aptitude for languages.

Patrick watched as Lily got up from her seat with a stack of papers in her arms. He thought back on the day he had made that fluke discovery and he still couldn't believe it. She had been so intense with her work that she hadn't noticed him standing behind her when she answered a call from an important Italian investor; Signore Renzo Salvetti; who was calling to confirm his schedule with Marko. He had every intention of taking the call from her when Lily had reverted from English to flawless Italian.

To say he was surprised was an understatement.

He had also discovered that Miss Lily has a great way of talking to people. She was able to charm Signore Salvetti to reschedule his appointment to another time since Marko was unable to accommodate him for that day.

That was quiet a feat considering how particular Signore Salvetti was with his schedules. He is actually one of those people who would never agree to a reschedule since he considers it as a complete lack of professionalism. The day Signore Salvetti came over for his appointment, he had immediately asked to meet the charming young lady he had spoke to

 over the phone.

Marko hadn't known about this situation and Patrick had decided not to enlighten him. He liked Lily and he knew Marko would only do everything he can to drive her away.

Besides, he was having so much fun watching how Lily can easily bring him down with sheer wit. Plus, their arguments are just too entertaining to sacrifice. So, Yes. Marko would just have to suffer a little bit longer.
