Gee's POV

~~~
We talked, for hours and hours on end.
What we'd bring, what place we'd hit, what we'd say, how we'd escape.
There wasn't a single thing that wasn't planned because after all, when you're robbing a place you have to be as thorough as possible.
That's what he told me anyway.
My idea of robbing was taking a few small items from a store or sneaking some cash from the register at a dead end job.
Hell I've even stolen a car once but this was on a grandiose scale that I'd never considered.
No matter what place we decided to rob or when we'd do it there would always be a six out of ten chance we'd get caught.
That's why I picked someone who didn't care, who'd done worse than me and was actually proud of it.
I could never be happy because of what I was going to do, I know it'd always linger in the back of my mind as a bad memory I could never forget.
But I decided to look past that, to think of only Mikey who needed me to save him from his own mess.
That kid could fuck up better than most and my job as a big brother was to save him from whatever damaged he caused himself.
If someone's beaten him up I kick their ass.
If he's been taken to jail I find the money to bail him out.
If he owes more money than he has I find a way to get it.
I'm a good big brother and that's the only thing I'll think I'll ever like about myself.
