The Story of us

29. Good morning

I wake up to the glare of the sun, shining through the blinds. I glance at the clock beside me, no wonder I'm not tired, it's 10:00 am.

I turn to my left, and there beside me is the one and only, Jacob Scott. His eyes are closed and his hair a mess. His breath is some how still minty from when he brushed his teeth the night before.

I turn back around and face the wall, eyes open. I suddenly have to use the bathroom very badly.

I try to get out of bed, but Jacob's arms are wrapped around my waist, and he won't let go. I try to wiggle myself out of his grasp but he still won't budge. I move onto plan B, trying to tare his arms off of me.

"Rowan", he says, still half asleep.

"Jacob, please let go of me", I demand quietly.

"Why?"

"Because I have to pee", I say simply.

Jacob laughs,"okay, fine." He let's go of me and I run into the bathroom.

Once I get back I see that Jacob had changed into a pair of jeans and a light blue shirt.

I grab my own clothes out of my suit case and take them to the bathroom. Once I have changed, brushed my teeth, straightened my hair, and applied a bit of make up, I head back into Jacob's room.

I throw my pajamas into my suit case and walk over to Jacob, giving him a quick kiss.

"So, what's the plan for today", I ask curiously.

"Well I was thinking we could go to Universal Studios here in Orlando. If that's okay with you."

I gasp,"oh my gosh! Yes, yes, yes!"

I hug Jacob and continue to jump up and down. I love amusement parks. I may be 18, almost 19, but I am a kid at heart.

Jacob laughs,"we'll leave in about an hour. But for now, my parents are probably dying to see you."

I chuckle and we head down stairs. Mr.Scott is sitting at the table with Kendall, eating fruit. And to the right Mrs.Scott and ten year old Lauren are making pancakes.

"Good morning", Jacob says, announcing our presence.

"Rowan", Lauren screams. She runs up to me and jumps into the air. I catch her and she wraps her legs around me,"I'm soooooo excited you're here."

I smile,"well I'm very glad to be here. It's going to be a lot of fun."

She nods,"can we hang out right now?"

I sigh,"well Jacob and I have plans in a little bit, but tonight we'll make a fort and watch a movie." I set her back down on the ground and she smiles.

"Deal, but I get to pick the movie", she says.

"Of course, you can pick the movie", I tell her.

She walks off smiling, going over to help finish the pancakes.

"Oh Rowan", Mrs Scott exclaims. "It's so nice to see you darling!"

I give her a quick hug,"it's nice to see you too."

She smiles,"I'm going to make you some pancakes and then we'll talk some more."

I nod,"okay, thank you."

Mr.Scott gets up and gives me a quick hug along with a fist bump,"the boy hasn't stopped talking about you since he was thirteen, now that you're here he'll finally stop", Mr.scott smiles as he jokes around with me.

I see Jacob roll his eyes but catch his smile as he sits next to Kendall.

I awkwardly laugh, not sure how to reply to Mr. Scott's comment. Kendall saves me though,"morning Rowan."

I give her a hug,"good morning Kendall. Did you finish your book last night?" I smile.

She nods."yeah" we laugh and sit back down.

"Okay, move it or lose it people, pancakes coming through", Mrs. Scott says. She places a plate stacked with warm pancakes on the table and we all dig in.

They all ask me thousands of questions and I reply nicely, answering every single one. After a very fun yet long break fast Jacob stands up."Rowan and I have to go but we'll see you guys later."

They all nod and smile."Have fun, be back for dinner", Mrs. Scott calls out.

"Bye guys", I say, waving."Thank you for breakfast!"

"Oh you're welcome. We'll see you both later."

We get in the car and Jacob blasts his Drake playlist.

"You ready Ro?"

"Hell yeah", I say, smiling.

Once we get to Universal studios we buy tickets that give us access to all of the rides.

Jacob takes my hand and looks me in the eyes,"Rowan, do you want some cotton candy?"

My eyes light up,"yes!"

He smiles,"okay, come on."

We head over to the cotton candy booth where a middle aged man is working.

"What can I get for you too", he asks us.

"Two cotton candies please", I say.

"Oh I don't need one Ro", Jacob says.

"I love you Jacob but I'm not going to share my cotton candy with you, so you need your own."

The guy smiles and hands us each our own cotton candy,"four dollars please."

I hand the man the money,"thank you", I say.

"No thank you young lady. Have a wonderful day you two", the man replies.

Jacob and I smile as we walk away, hand in hand.

"Where to first", he asks me.

"I was thinking some type of roller coaster. Is that okay with you", I ask.

"As long as I'm with you, everything is okay with me."

He gives my hand a squeeze and we walk through the crowd, in search for a roller coaster.

I decided to double update this week as my Christmas present to you guys. I know, it's kind of a lame gift, especially since it's only 1000 words. But I tried my best, lol.
