I awoke the next morning with a blanket covering my body. Ally must have left later that night. I pressed the button and a nurse came into the room.

"Yes."

"I need to go to the bathroom."

"Okay I can help you." She came up next to me and lowered the rail on the side closest to me and the bathroom. She then helped me sit up and walk over to the bathroom. I did my business and walked back to the hospital bed.

Several hours later I got breakfast and Ally and her mom Natalie showed up and were there for the rest of the day talking with me. Doctors and nurses came and went checking up on me. Around 6 a social worker came in to see me and told me some surprising news.

"Peyton, Natalie found your birth certificate and we are starting the testing but we are pretty sure we found your father."

"Okay so who is my dad?"

"Oliver Queen."

"The Billionaire?" I was too shocked to say anything and Ally asked my question for me.

"Yes it appears so." She said.

"So what is going to happen?"

"You will go with me once you are released from the hospital to your father's home and meet him." I am too stunned so much has happened in these past two days, my mom died, I got severely injured the happiest thing was Jeremy dieing.

Yea, I know I sound extremely cruel for that but I hated absolutely hated Jeremy. He abused me and my mom never found out.

The rest of the day floated by in a blur and I didn't know what else happened then next thing that I knew was I was watching the tv and drawing on a piece of paper. My eyelids grew heavy and I turned off the tv and put my pencils on the side table and fell asleep.
One day down, two more days to go.
The next morning Ally brought CeCe and some of my clothes and my sketchbook. I pulled my bracelet on that was sitting on the table. They had found it in the wreckage and given it to me with my backpack that sat on the foot of my bed. My sketchbook had been at home that day because I didn't have art class and wouldn't have time to draw.
She told me that they packed my big suitcase with my favorite clothes, my blanket, a few other things. I told them to take all of the photos of me and my mom, and me and them and pack them somehow. I didn't want any pictures of Jeremy. I would be leaving the next morning after I got checked out. They cleared me for my concussion and told me to change my bandages two times a day, when I wake up and before I go to sleep. I was offered pain meds but declined.
I have a high pain tolerance and this hurt but I don't want meds to affect my judgment.
My IV was taken out after I woke up the second time. On my last day there I was allowed to walk around without any help but someone had to be there just in case. I had on some of my baggier clothes so not to be tight against my stitches.
In total I had 46 stitches. I've had stitches before that I did myself but not this many. I was surprised that nobody asked me about my scars that littered my body. I had scars from glass, knives, and a few other things. Jeremy would get drunk while my mom was working the night shift at the bank and would hurt me. I know how to fight and fought back twice before . Every time I fought back I would get hurt even worse so I stopped fighting back. No one ever knew that he hurt me.
The morning I was leaving the lady that would drive me to my fathers house picked me up as early as possible but I've been up for a hour. She dropped me off at my house to pick up whatever I needed. I asked it I could take a shower seeing as my dad only lived four hours away. She let me and I took a quick shower gently washing around my stitches. I hissed in pain as soap got into my big cut. My hair was clean and I changed my bandages not before looking at myself in the full length mirror in the bathroom. Older scars littered my body. Some were long about four inches others barely an inch. I placed new bandages on my stitches and wrapped my entire torso and my upper arm. I brushed my hair with one arm and got dressed into cleaner, nicer clothes and placed my dirty clothes into a bag and shoved it into my bag. I have a huge duffel bag that I got for camping. I seriously have a duffel bag like this and I can fit inside. I'm 5'6" and can curl up inside. It's black and about 33-36" long. It's huge. My friends and I call it the body bag duffel.

I pulled the duffel off of my bed and looked around my room. My backpack set there and I quickly cleaned it of the unnecessary things and put my art supplies in it before taking everything downstairs. The lady helped me put my bag in the car and I brought my backpack with art supplies, chargers, and some hygiene products that weren't in my duffel.

Ally and CeCe were there giving me each a hug before I got a hug from Natalie and Olivia who were like 2nd moms to me. I got into the car and buckled my seat. I waved goodbye to my two best friends before we pulled out of my driveway.

We begin the drive to Starling City.
