Sophie, Klaus, Rebekah, and Stiles were in the Study. He could hear Hayley pacing on the other side of the door. He knew the moment the meeting was done, she'd eagerly drag him to their room and demand him to tell her word by word what was said.

"Are you out of your mind?" Sophie exclaims. She adjusts her position on the couch and denies, "No way."

"It's very simple," Rebekah casually shrugs. "We need you to perform a teeny, tiny locator spell to help us find our brother."

"If you don't remember Rebekah but witches who practice magic in this town get caught, and they get killed. So in case you want Sophie to die then I suggest not." Stiles explains cautiously to her. He hated the witch but if sparing her helped saved Hayley then so be it.

"Thank you," Sophie replied in relief. Falsely, thinking he was trying to protect her because of the goodness in his heart.

"Oh, I didn't say that because I like you. You are linked to Hayley, so if you die then she dies. If you weren't important, you would be suffering excruciating torture until I see fit to kill you for blackmailing us," He stated with an evil smirk.

"Yes. About that, Sophie, it seems you left out a crucial detail when we made our deal-- Marcel's secret weapon, the way he knows when a witch is using magic," Klaus brought up. He was bored with this topic and his sister insisting to save their brother every second she could get. He was going to get Elijah back with or without the witches' help. Klaus had told Stiles about the witch right before Sophie got here. He didn't need another argument with the young man.

"Girl about yay high, cute as a button, anger issues," Rebekah describes as she brings up her hand to emphasize the mystery girl's height.

"A girl version of Klaus I presume?" Stiles asked Rebekah teasingly and she snickers while Klaus gives the both of them a playful glare.

"Davina?" Sophie asked with widening eyes as she looked surprised and also relieved. "Where have you seen her?" She soon asked frantically.

"I don't know. The little brat erased my memory right after she threw me out a window with her bloody mind." Rebekah said irritated and equally frustrated.

"Let me cut to the chase. Davina has Elijah. You witches, I assume, want to get Davina away from Marcel. We don't know where she is," Stiles said, pacing back and forth but then Klaus cuts in, "Ergo, we need magic."

"Davina would sense it," Sophie said not getting how she was supposed to help with the solution for the problem.

"Unless, of course, another witch-- say, a traitor to the cause, Katie, for example--was to perform much more powerful magic at the same time," Rebekah says and Stiles understood where she was going with this.

"That would create a smokescreen concealing your very small spell from Davina," Stiles says aloud in realization and Rebekah nods her head in agreement.

"Katie doesn't deserve to die. Stiles, your pack was very much dependent on morals to save everyone. What would your pack think of you know?" Sophie asked desperately and he was furious.

Stiles did not like his pack being thrown in his face. Yes, his pack had good morals and so did he, but his pack didn't define him as a whole. There was a reason why Scott and Stiles worked well together. Scott thought and acted more through a black and white mentality, but Stiles thought and made decisions through the grey. Scott prevented Stiles from completely succumbing to the darkness, keeping him in the middle between goodness and evil. Stiles helped Scott see things through a different perspective and make tough decisions.

He grabbed her and pinned her against the wall. He could hear the whimper she let escape in fright and not pain. He made sure not pin her too hard for Hayley's sake, but enough to feel.

"Nigdy nie używaj mojego mordu do pakowania przeciwko mnie. Pack means everything to me and yes they wouldn't be proud of the decisions I am making right now but at this moment I don't give a damn. I will make you suffer if not physically but then mentally.

"You might think you have the upper hand but the truth is you are weak. If you didn't have that link with Hayley, you would have been dead for just threatening us. Your magic is too sloppy to be a serious threat and you know it. I may not be the nogitsune anymore but I still remember most of his tricks. Do you want to find out which ones I remember?" He gives her a moment to respond and she quietly shakes her head, "Don't test me again because you can't even imagine the suffering I can put you through," He threatens in a dangerously low voice right in her face. He was growling and seething in anger with every word. He saw her gulp with one tear coming down her face, and her breath hitched a little. (Never ever use my pack morals against me.)

He turned around to see Rebekah with a shocked and impressed expression. When he looks to Klaus, he kind of has the same expressions as Rebekah but with a few more that he couldn't confirm. Stiles just simply kept his face blank, dropping his hold and Sophie, and walked over to the other side of the room and leaned against the wall.

"You can't win a war without a few strategic losses, no matter how regrettable they may be. How many times have the vampires been one step ahead, knowing something they shouldn't? Your sister executed in the public square for practicing magic--who knew she'd be caught? Did she even attempt to flee?" Klaus asked questions back and forth breaking the silence that had been created.

"She was caught hiding in a cargo hold of a freighter before it set sail down the Mississippi." She simply stated barely coming out of shock and finding her voice again.

"And who, pray to tell, of Marcel's valued inner circle, manages his business at the docks?" Klaus asked already knowing the answer.

"Katie's boyfriend Thierry." She said letting out a sad sigh and if Stiles wasn't so furious with her then he would have felt bad.

Author's Note:

This is a very short chapter but I wanted to update something since I am not sure if I will be able to update within the next 6 to7 days.

I am on vacation in Palm Springs so I will be busy. I will not have much time to write and edit much.

I was also in Arizona last weekend up until Tuesday so that was also why I didn't update this week. I would have updated on Wednesday or Thursday but I had to pack for this weekend and I was really tired. There was also no Wifi in Arizona until Monday.

Warning: The Polish in this chapter is from Google Translate so if it is wrong then I am truly sorry.

Hope you liked it.
