"Tell me your story," Syd muttered.
"I'll be here when you wake up," Liam told him.
Syd shivered and let himself curl closer. "If I wake up," he added.
"I'll be here," Liam repeated. "And I'll tell you then."
Syd might have replied had he been awake, but instead, he slept, and in his sleep, he dreamed and in his dream, he dreamed he was awake.
And Liam was still there.
