My face hurt from smiling. I know it's insane and I should stop fake smiling so much but I know that the second I stop smiling is the second the whispers will start.

They'll say I'm depressed, lonely, manic. Maybe I was all those things, but I'd rather die than let them know that. I'd rather my face break in two from fake smiling.

Can your face physically break in two?

"Camilla!" I spun around to find my sister Sophie behind me.

"What is it babe?" I asked, taking another sip of the champagne in my hand.

"Mum's looking for you," she said and wiggled her eyebrows conspiratorially.

"Why?" I'm suspicious, and have every right to be. These days my unimaginably huge family was trying to set me up with someone and most of the guys they recommended were thugs who were probably looking for a permanent visa.

"I don't know," Sophie shrugged.

"Yes you do," I could tell by her expression she knew exactly why our mother was looking for me.

"I really don't," She lied again and I sighed, already exhausted. When will this be over so I can go home? When mum told me about my second cousin's engagement party I had flat out refused to attend but she had persisted and told me if I didn't come, she'd arrange for the entire family to have dinner at my apartment. My huge family in my poor tiny studio apartment, so I had given up and agreed to come. Boy was I regretting it now.

I started regretting it even more when I located my mum next to a tall man with a scotch in his hands. Yep, she was trying to set me up. Again

"Camilla," she yelled from across the room and I wanted to melt and become one with the marble floor.

Groaning I walked towards her, making sure to shove as many people on my way as I could.

"Mum," I leaned forward and gave her a hug, "You were looking for me?"

"Yes hon," She stretched her arms out and gestured at the man standing in front of us, "This is Antonio,"

"Hello," I said curtly and he nodded at me.

"Antonio runs his father's business in Atlanta," She smiled warmly at the man.

"Nice," I murmured and looked at him. He was fit, I'll give him that- he was the epitome of tall dark and handsome.

"I've got to go," Mum suddenly said and gave me a smile. I knew immediately that she's looking to leave me alone with tall, dark and handsome Antonio.

"I'll come with you," I tell her and she shakes her head.

"No, you stay here," Yep, this was another set up. Before I have a chance to protest she's gone, leaving me alone with Antonio.
