Dot The Demon

The twins nearly ran home. When they arrived, Clary was the first to notice blood on the street right in front of their house.

"No." She said. "Kiara tell me that nothing is wrong. Mom? Where is she? Mom." Clary said panicking.

"Don't jump to the worst conclusions just yet, Clary." Kiara said even though she was quite scared herself.

The twins walked up.

"Be careful. Someone might still be in there." Kiara whispered.

They entered their apartment and saw no one. Clary broke down crying. Kiara leaned against the wall right in front of Clary and controlled her own tears, preventing any from falling down.

Just then they heard the door open. Kiara straightening and looked at the direction the noise came from.

"Clary. Get up." She said.

A few seconds later, Dot came in. Kiara sighed in relief. "Dot. Are you okay? And mom? Is she with you? Is she downstairs? Is she alone?" Kiara questioned.

"They took Jocelyn." Dot said.

"Who're 'they'?" Clary asked.

"Rogue shadowhunters." Dot answered quickly.

Kiara furrowed an eyebrow. This wasn't like Dot. Vague answers and so quickly.

"But why would they take her? We need to bring her back." Clary said.

"Yes. And we will, being her back that is. Do you know where the mortal cup is? It will help us being Jocelyn back." Dot asked.

Now Kiara was nearly a hundred pets event sure that this wasn't Dot. The twins didn't know what a shadowhunter or a mortal cup is. And Dot knew it.

"I don't know. What's that got to do with anything?" Clary asked.

"Think Clary. Think. You too Kiara. Did you ever hear your mom talking about a cup? And hiding it somewhere or hiding anything somewhere in general?" She questioned.

"Dot, we really know nothing." Clary said.

"And you should know that. In fact, you do know that. You know what we know of and what we don't." Kiara said, raising an eyebrow.

Dot suddenly growled. "If that's how it's going to be." She said before tentacles came out of her face.

"Not again." Kiara said.

She first went towards Clary. The twins ran and tried to find something to fight it off with.

When the demon neared them, Clary stabbed it with her stele. And the next thing Kiara knew one of its tentacles were practically inside her waist. Unable to balance herself, she fell down. And the last thing she saw was the blond boy from pandemonium running his sword through the demon before she blacked out.
