1 Day After (11 Days After the Accident):

Beeping.  Tubes being pulled from my arms and nose.  Needles being removed.  The beeping gone.  The sensation of being put in a wheel chair and suddenly there's the breeze again.  Wind.  I hold back a mangled scream and put my head in my hand as dizziness starts.

"Follow all the directions on the medication bottle.  If she is in pain after you give her the medicine, please do not give her an overdose.  Also, it would be best to get the medication tonight, because the dose we gave her will wear off by tomorrow morning," the doctor stops the wheelchair and I hear the click of a pen.  There's a shuffling of papers, and I assume he's signing medication papers.

The woman, from yesterday, mumbles something incoherent and starts sobbing again.  I raise my head and look intently at her.  Dark brown hair.  Blue eyes.  Freckles on a petite nose.  Earrings.  A fancy, red dress.  High heels.  A tear stained face.  Red, swollen eyelids.
