He drove me home and we sat quietly and I regretted everything.
"I'm sorry I don't think I can do this." I said tearing up as I got out of the car
"Why?" he said tearing up
"Because I can't love anyone, they always leave or die, or even disappear. I don't want to hurt you, you deserve better than me and I don't have a lot of money." I said with one single tear coming down my cheek
"I don't care how much money you have, or even if we don't workout. I just want you to give this a chance, because I know we can work it out." he said looking at me seriously
"Are you sure?" I asked
"I want to be there for your daughter, she seems amazing and I know that I can prove to you I am worth it. I don't care about how much money you have, just about every girl I have been with has been with me for the money and the perks." he said
"I don't want all of that I want someone to trust." I said
"Well, I guess this is set, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" he asked
"I will.." I said smiling
We then made plans for him to meet Jaycee, and when I told him her real name and the spelling, he fell in love with it.
Maybe this will work, but if he doesn't show me respect or Jaycee love, it will never work.
