"Toby, I think I should just stay in the car." I said as we pulled up
"Teralyn, you are getting out of the vehicle, they are going to love you." he said
"I just really want them to like me." I said
"They will love you" he said, kissing my forehead
"I hope so." I said smiling at him
I was so scared I was wearing yoga pants, a oversized sweater, and flip flops. His house is the biggest on the block and my house was just normal on the block.
He came over and opened my door for me and I stepped out, he shut the door behind me.
When we got up to the door he knocked as if it wasn't his house. You could hear heels clacking as a very tall and thin blonde woman wearing a red dress and "oh so fetch" designer shoes opened the door.
"Toby dear, you didn't tell me you were bringing home company!" she said
"Mom, this is.. my girlfriend Teralyn." he said with a hand motion towards me
"Well isn't she darling, hi dear, my name is Sherri Peterwood, but you can call me Sherri." she said pulling me in for a hug
"Thanks!" I said blushing for how enthusiastic she was about me being here
"Mom, dad told me he needed me to drop something off for him?" Toby said
"He went ahead and did it, you know how he is." she said rolling her eyes
"Well,y'all are welcome to stay and hang out but I really do have to go to my tea time with my lady friends, your dad doesn't like me being in the house a lot, but Teralyn it was really nice meeting you, and you seem like a wonderful young woman, and you can come back whenever you like. Toby, I love you and I will be back in two or three hours." she said as she walked out the garage door, which held like 15 cars
"She seems really nice." I said
"Yeah, she can be, but she wants me to have a plan for my life and I just go with the flow." he said
"You wanna go out to eat or eat here?" asked Toby
"What do you want to do?" I asked
"I am here all the time so I say we go and eat somewhere good, how does Mexican sound?" he asked
"Amazing!" I said
We drove to the nearest Mexican and ordered some food and ate.
"I really like you." said Toby looking into my eyes
"I really like you to." I said
"I'm glad, because I got you something." he said pulling into his pocket
heheheheh, I kind of left you hanging on this one, but my plan is to finish this before July or at least August, so just keep holding on and we will make it to the end of this:) vote, comment, sub!!
