Chapter 7

King pulled up to a large ice cream parlor, he came around and opened the door for me. Taking his hand, we walked into the shop

"Hi can I take your order?" the lady behind the counter asked

"Yea, can I have a banana split and two chocolate shakes?" King ordered

"That's a lot of milk" I said looking up at him

"Don't worry its worth it" he winked before kissing my forehead

"that'll be $22.30 sir," the lady said

"I'll buy it" I said getting my wallet out

"nah, you don't need to be paying for nothing with me" he said

King pulled out his wallet and handed the women the money. King handed me a shake and took the rest of the stuff walking over to a booth. We sat down across from each other

"Here try" he said putting a spoon in front of my mouth with a scoop of the banana split

He fed it to me and it was amazing

"Oh my god, King that's amazing" I said shocked

"mmhmm, I know" he said laughing at me

"Don't laugh" I said blushing

"nah, its's just that when you find something that you like you moan.... Its sexy"

"shut up" I said blushing "how'd you find this place?"

"My mom use to take me here when something went well or if she wanted to cheer me up... after she passed I'd just come here to feel close to her"

"well I love it here" I said taking a sip of my shake

"I want to take you shooting," he said when we were done are ice cream

"Shooting what?"

"A gun"

"I don't know about all that"

"Nah come" he said sliding out of the booth

We got in the car and drove off, I don't know what King's thinking talking bout taking me to shoot a gun. I swear if my parents only knew, they'd kill me. sliding my phone out I sent a text to Trina. 

Me: Tri, King wants me to learn how to shoot

Trina: Girl get your ass on the gun rang and shoot!!! Believe me you'll love it!

Me: whatever will see

Tri: trust! And you whooped Shaniqua's ass!

Me: She talked all sideways 'bout my man!

Tri: Lord! Speaking of your man, you give him the good good yet?

Me: Nope...

Tri: Well get on that girl, you want to keep your man from wondering you better remind him what he's got girl!

Me: I don't think it's like that

Tri: he's a man no?

Me: Yea....

Tri: ok then, girl I know you saw the baby doll in the drawer at kings! Put that shit to work! Don't let your man go! Show him what's at home!!

I sat there reading over her text a few times, I have feelings for King and he makings me feel so good, but I don't want to rush into having sex to only end up with a broken heart. I just don't know if I'm ready for that step so soon...
