Chapter 15

[ Freedom ]

Trembling on the floor, experiencing the coldness in the basement. Her legs were chained like a prisoner. The chains felt colder than it looks. Allie swore that she could kill herself rather than living in that hellish mansion owned by damn stunning-face monster. She would not even care about her life but to no avail, she still had her family, her mother. Oh how she thought she could have listened to her mother that night. Her regrets brought her down more than she was before.

Allie's life was a disaster ever since he walked right into her life. Justin Hudsons had taken everything from her life especially- her virginity, freedom

Her dignity.

Though, he was a good man with a good heart but he had a problem of handling someone he loved and cared. All the girls would fall for him but they would not want to know what was there in his bad side. God knows how many times she tried to escape but it seemed failure has gone too attached with her fate.

Allie sighed, dragging her legs up to her chest and hugged them, hoping the warmth could calm her. She felt like she was waiting for something that would never ever going to happen.

Then she heard a sound that she knew to be a footstep before the basement's door. She hugged herself in more protective way while she glared directly at the door. She was waiting for what was going to happen, it could go very good or very bad. Mixed emotions of scared and mad but she managed to keep calm.

She heard a click, signing the door was unlocked. Justin Hudsons walked in holding a blanket and closed the door gently. Allie broke her glare and stared the floor, avoiding his eyes contacts. She overheard his light sigh as he was kneeling in front of her. He covered her trembling body with the blanket. Allie didn't even flinch as she stayed the way she was like a cold statue. She felt slighty relieved since the blanket provided her some warmth. She took a glance at his face.

'What now?' She thought to herself.

"Im sorry," He broke the eerie silence. Allie was shocked for a moment since that was not what she really expected coming from his mouth. She was expecting- well more yelling or probably violence. She looked at him in the eyes, his eyes were shimmering blue like she could feel his honesty or even- sincerity. Allie snapped out of her thoughts, "It's a statement. You don't even meant it." Her hoarse voice scratched Justin's heart. He knew, she was hurt both physically and mentally- and all was because of him, himself. His heart was pounding, thoughts about losing her flashed through his mind. He was scared. He was scared if Allie's hatred towards him had grown bigger as the time passed until he wouldn't be able to handle it. He didn't want to keep her prisoned, like a slave to his heart. No.

He lowered his head as he rested his hands on her shoulders, "I mean it," He looked right into her eyes, "I really mean it, I promise." His voice was soothing, brought up Allie's trust towards him. She held herself in, trying not to burts out crying. "I'm sorry for what I've done, I'm sorry I couldn't handle my own heart, my own lust, my desire-" He lightly sighed, holding himself together, "I know.. I'm the worst person you'd ever met. I took everything from you and I am aware of that. But to keep you with me, to protect you, I'd do anything."
