"Girls school start in 4 days, get y'all asses up" i told them as i walked through the hallway that connected there rooms.

"Lucky for you, I'm up"Kyndel said as she peeked out of the bathroom brushing her teeth.

"Same!"Layla yelled as i opened her door seeing her slipping on some basket ball shorts about to go hoop.

I opened Kay's door to see her laying down watching tv "Well damn, i guess y'all all up and doing y'all own thing" i said as i sat on the edge of her bed. "Y'all know how y'all want y'all hair for school?" I asked as Kay quickly pulled up a picture.

"I want the basic!" Kyn yelled referring to a basic straight sew in.

"Basic thot" Layla mumbled coming into the room "Well i want to dye my natural hair red"Layla said playing in her thick natural curly hair.

"Wanna be blood" Kyn said as they all came into Kaylas room.

"Y'all are so rude to each other i swear"

"Just like you and aunt Jo" Kyn said as i rolled my eyes.

"For your information little girl, me & aunt Jo are Bestfriend's"i smiled correcting her as she laughed.

"Mom i have something important to tell you" Kayla said as i played fight with Layla.

"Im pregnant"she mumbled as i didn't fully process what she had just said.

"Wait what? I didn't hear you" i said feeling myself getting angry.

"Im pregnant" she mumbled as she pulled out a pregnancy test.

"Your fucking 13!" I yelled as the room got silence "Kyn, Layla out now! And shut the door behind you" i demanded as they ran out shutting the door.

"Im sorry momma" she cried as i rested my head in my hand.

"Girl save that sorry shit, you only sorry cause you out here being a hoe behind my back and now the shit is coming to the surface! Kayla why in the fuck would you fuck your life up!"

"I'll get an abortion" she suggested as i slapped her out of anger.

"NO WHAT THE FUCK, if you grown enough to FUCK THEN YOU GROWN ENOUGH TO RAISE THAT BABY! And we gonna see if that nigga you fucked is gonna be in your life" i said in anger before leaving out her room.

"Where we going mommy?" Dom asked as i looked back at them strapped into their carseats as the calmly looked out the windows.

"Well your finna meet your Uncle Gotti" i said holding back my emotions. Was this wrong for me to let my kids meet their uncle while he's on his death bed?

"We have another uncle?"Nemi asked as i shook my head yes.

"This is your daddies younger brother, he's really sick and his only wish is to see y'all" i told them "y'all be nice to him and show him alot of love okay" i informed them as they shook their heads yes.

Gotti was like my little brother growing up, and today i was finally finna see him in his death bed for myself.Phase has been tryna stop me from seeing him but he finally gave in when Gotti begged him to see us.

When we walked into the house we were greeted by Phase momma.

"My sexy daughter" she greeted me as i smiled hugging her tightly

"Hey momma, how you holding up?" I asked as i rubbed her shoulders as Nemi & Dom ran into Phase arms.

"Im holding up" she said looking me in my eyes as her tears were forming. "Go see him" she told me as she wiped away her falling tears.

No mother should have to bury her child before herself.

When i walked into the room with the twins in Phase arms i couldn't help but to stop at the door and cover my face.

The thing about being a mother is, my kids should never see me cry or weak. So i had to push back my tears and walk into the room with both of them.

"Gotti to the t" i smiled as he held my hand tightly eyes close.

"Jojo" he mumbled as wiped my tears.

"Man Garrett, i been missing you for a long time...I got you niece & nephew here." I told him as he tired to sit up before opening his eyes half ways.

"Their beautiful, damn Phase ugly self mark these kids" he said as i laughed before motioning to them to hug him.

"Hi Uncle Gotti, I'm Dominique" Dom introduced himself as i stood in the door frame watching them.

"And I'm Nemi " she excited said as they climbed into the little bed with him.

"Y'all wanna hear some stories about me and your daddy?" He asked as they both said yeah. I couldn't help but to snap a picture for memories before going into the hall crying before feeling Phase hands on my shoulder. I knew his hands for some odd reason just like i knew his presence.

"You good Jo?" He mumbled to me as i kissed him.

"Yeah" i said not tryna speak to much on it.

"He using all his strength today just to talk to the twins" he said trying to make conversation. Phase knew that me & death didn't mix well, i start to get very emotional and over protective when deadly situations come about.

"I see that , and the twins are latching on to him so well"

"Yeah, that little nigga Dom shocks me how well he latch on to him"

"Like your mom said, Dom reminds her of him" I said as i played with Phases hand. "Phase if i lost you... ill lose myself"

"Don't be on that bullshit Jo, like we discussed if i die... you gonna keep it moving and live yo life to the fullest" he told me as hime lifted my chin up looking me into my eyes.

"Phase you are my heart, my Bestfriend before the lovey dovey shit, my first real love... the first man to ever treat me like I'm worth it all... i never genuinely thanked you for saving my ass off them streets that night you open your club. You are my earth angel sent from god because if were being honest If you would of gave up on me during my drug problem...I'll probably be dead. I couldn't ask for a better father to my kids despite your bullshit. " i said as he kissed my hand "You have my soul on locked and man the love i have for you runs deep baby" i continued

Jorjo ain't never been the one to express her feelings and to hear that from her after all these years makes me love her more.
