Cashton's POV:

When school was over, I almost panicked.  It took me finally having to remember that it was school and I would see her again tomorrow to calm me down. I did, however,  get her number telling her to text or call at any time if she needed anything.  She just nodded.

When I got home, I really needed to know so I went to my dad's study. I knocked and waites to hear the come in before entering. "Hey son" my dad greeted. "Hey dad, I have a question." "Well go ahead ask me anything" He said.

"How did you know that you found your mate?" I ask, already hoping it is Katie. He smiled and shook his head. "That is something that I will absolutely never forget.  It started when I first looked in her eyes, as soon as her eyes met mine it just kinds clicked.  She was mine just as I was hers. Then came the sparks, the sparks is another definite thing too, because as soon as you touch each other they will go flying. Then, there is also their scent. It's both intoxicating and addicting. So son, why do you ask?"

"I think I found my mate,  and she's human." I said as I look at my dad. When I said those words he look so overjoyed that he almost jumped out of his seat. That, he didn't do,  but what he did do is shout so loud that I had to cover my ears. With all the rachet, it drew my mother into the study with a conc9look on her face.

"What's going on in here?" She asked as she looked around to see if there was any danger. "April, our boy here just found his mate today." At those words I can tell that she was really excited too. "Well," she said, "where is she?" "Mom, she's human so you can't meet her yet." With those words she calmed down a little and nodded with a little disappointment.  Yeah, she got it. You see, my mom's human so it took her a really long time to trust my dad. Luckily for me, I inherited the werewolf gene.

"Okay son," she said, "just use that charm of your and you'll have her in no time." "Thanks mom." "Anytime." she said happily and left to go finish her's and dad's dinner.  I talked a few more minutes about Alpha duties to dad before heading to my house at the other end of the land.

My wolf wanted to run, so I went into the woods and shifted. As I was running, I smelled a scent that should not be here. Being in these woods are really dangerous.  I followed it and saw Katie Anderson leaning against a tree and srawing the view of the waterfall. I didn't let my presence be known but I did stay there until she left just so I could make sure she is safe. When she left I followed her to her car. You can call me a stalker, but I call myself her protector. I didn't want anything happened to her. When she was safe in her car and driving off, it was late so I went home and showered.

After my shower, I ate some leftovers from the finner mom made at our little get together last night before crawling into my bed and going to sleep. She was all I could dream about because she was so beautiful.  I really hope that one day, she tells me the story of what happened to her that made it to where she won't talk at all.
