C H A P T E R 12

T R I S

I wake up and feel something on my wrists. I open my eyes and see that I'm tied up to a wooden chair. I'm in a dark room and there is only one light on top of me. I look around panicking.

How did I get here?

Where am I?

Where's Tobias?

All those questions run thru my mind. I hear something, glass cracking and a tall man stands in front of me. I look up and see... Edgar? He gives me an evil smile and kneels in front of me

"Hello there Tris, it's been a long time" he says and I try to back away. Of course I can because the back of the chair won't let me "what do you want?" I ask him. He shrugs and stands up "I'm gonna leave you here, where no one will find you and let you starve" he says and laughs

"Let me go!" I yell and he slaps my cheek making it burn "shut up bitch. We can do this the easy way... or the hard way" he says and I feel tears forming. I nod my head and he smiles "good girl, I have to go but I'll be back soon. There's cameras in here so if you scream or try to escape I will know" he says and I nod again. He them walks away.

Edgar comes back with a sandwich and chips. He puts a chair in front of me and starts eating. I glare at him and he chuckles "so your stupid boyfriend is looking for you. It's already in the news 'superstar Tris Prior goes missing' Four is freaking out, he must really love you" he says doing some kind of effect with his hands and finishes his sandwich.

"Shut up" I said and I regretted as soon as it came out. He stood up, came towards me and punch me in the jaw. I felt tears in my eyes and I letted them fall "not so tough now huh?" He said and laughed "say that your sorry" he muttered and slapped me "I-I'm sorry" I said and he nodded "good" he murmured and went out the door. I heard a click which meant the door was locked.

I start crying silently.

I want Tobias back, I don't want to die yet

Tobias POV

2 days later

Tris has been missing for three days now. I'm losing my mind. The police don't have leads and they think she's dead but I refuse to believe it. She can't be dead. I will find her even if it's the last thing I do.

The paparazzi left. I talked to the police and they gave them a restraint order. They can't come near this house unless I want them too. People visit me and ask me how I'm doing but I don't really talk to anyone. I'm always out, looking for her. I've checked all the abandoned warehouses and buildings. She's nowhere to be found.

My phone rings and it says 'private number'

"Hello? who's this?" I asked and I heard a males voice chuckling "hello Four how are you doing?" he says and I think I know this voice, I just don't know who the voice belongs to "who are you?" I asked again

"It doesn't matter, anyways I was just calling to tell you to stop looking for Tris. She will die very soon so stop wasting your time" he says and my heart stops

"Listen to me you son of a bitch. If you touch her or hurt her I will find you and kill you. Do you understand me?" I yelled on the phone. He chuckled and scoffed "oh I understand, the thing is... you will never find me buddy. So keep dreaming" he said and I punched the wall "oh she's awake" he says and I hear a bloodcurdling scream

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?" I yelled with a tear rolling down my cheek

"Oops I think her wrist is broken" he said and I hear Tris crying and yelling out in pain "shut up!" he yells and I hear him slapping her

"Please, I'm begging you. Don't hurt her. please, I'll do anything" I said and cried. I couldn't feel my legs anymore so I fell on my knees

"Sorry there's nothing you can do. I will torture her until she dies, but you have a nice day Four" he says and hangs up.

I throw my phone across the room and cry. I can still hear her scream in my head over and over and over again. I put my hands in my head as if I'm about to crush it "make it stop! please make it stop!" I yell with hot tears in my face

WHY HER!?

SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! WHY HER!?

WHY!?
