C H A P T E R 20

T O B I A S

Three months later

Today is one of the most crucial days in our lives. Today we will know the baby's gender and I can't wait. I really hope it's a boy but if not then I don't mind. I will love my baby girl just as much. I got up and literally ran to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and change into a dark blue and green tee, skinny jeans and vans. I then fixed my hair a little and walked out. Tris was already dressed waiting for me. Thats because I over slept. My bad. You can now see the pregnancy showing and that makes me so happy.

"Good morning princess" I said and kissed Tris on the lips. I then bent down and kisses her belly "and good morning to you too baby" I said and Tris giggled "come on let's go! I can't wait, I have to know if I'm having a boy or a baby girl" Tris said and pushed me outside. We then got in the car and drove to Steven's hospital

Steven rubbed the ultrasound transducer against Tris's belly and smiled when he saw the image of the baby popping out. He waited two minutes and then turned to look at us "you're gonna have a little healthy baby..." he trailed off to tease us

"No kidding Steve but what is it? boy or girl?" Tris asked and Steven chuckled

"It's a boy" he said and Tris and I smiled so wide our jaws started hurting "I'll be right back with the pictures" Steven said and went out "Toby we are having a boy" Tris said smiling her eyes tearing. I nodded chuckling "I knew it! how are we gonna name him?" I asked and she shrugged smiling "honestly I have no idea" she said and we laughed. Steve came back with the pictures and they said 'It's a boy' on it. I placed it in my wallet and smiled. My baby boy.

We thanked Steven and went outside. When I was in the car I took out my phone "is it okay if I tell our family that it's a boy?" I ask Tris and she nods "sure baby" she murmured and kissed my cheek. I sent the picture to Drew, Natalie, Caleb, Maddison, Chris, Mackenzie, Nathan, Ed, Ariana and Taylor. We both drove to the photo shoot

We stepped inside the building and Jimmy, the photographer came with a smile on his face "so what is it?" he asked excitedly clapping his hands. "it's a boy" we both said in unison and he hugged us

"congrats, I'm really happy for you" he said and we thanked him "okay so you guys go change, we'll be waiting" he said and we both headed to our different rooms.

5 minutes later

I came out of the room and saw that they set up and room for a baby boy for the pictures. I smiled and stood outside of Tris's door. She came out wearing a white dress that made her look beautiful. Her hair and make up was just perfect. You can see her bump and I smiled thinking of my little boy. I kissed her "you look beautiful as always" I said. she blushed and murmured "thank you"

Them we both walk to the mini set. We were standing up and there was a sign behind saying 'IT'S A BOY!" in dark blue letters.

"Okay Four put your hands around her and touch her belly as if you were touching the baby. Now Tris smile and look down. Put your hands on Four's too. Four I want you smiling down at Tris and pretend your about to kiss her cheek but don't lean down to much, okay?" he said and we nodded "okay let's do this!" he said. We started posing for the pictures and they came out perfectly

"Alright guy this pictures will be out tomorrow, we will send you a magazine and an album to your house too" Jimmy's assistant said and we smiled "okay thank you" Tris said. She nodded her head and walked away

"Let's go shopping!" Tris yelled and we ran out the building

Shopping

We are now looking for clothes and stuff for our baby. We already bought a big dark wooden baby crib, a dresser, a changing table, a rocking chair, a glider, monitors, night light and a diaper pail. We also bought a lot of baby clothes. Lots. We decided to buy the other stuff one week before the baby gets here.

We called Ricky and asked him to bring a van so we could take the crib and changing table home. When he got here a guy put the stuff inside and we thanked him. I gave him twenty dollars and he walked away smiling.

When we got home, we set the stuff in the future baby's room. The room is right next to us so that makes it easier for us because if we have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed him we won't have to walk so much.

Ricky leaves and Tris and I sit in the living room

"Okay let's start" Tris says and takes out a paper and pen

"Start what?" I asked and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion

"We are gonna start picking baby names for our son" she said with a smile "okay" I said nodding

"Dean" she suggested with a smirk

"Tris you have to get over that show" I said and she shook her head "never!" she said dramatically. I laughed "well either way that's not an option" I said and she fake pouted "fine" she murmured and erased the name

We spend the whole afternoon picking out possible future baby names..
