Jason's POV

"When were you going to tell me that I have a son." I growled at her. I wanted to grab her and shake her, I was so mad.

    "Um... today?" she said shyly

I stared at her in a mix of blatant shock and extreme anger. She was never going to tell. She had always planned to tell me. "You never planned to tell me did you?" She didn't answer. Just stood and looked down.

"I did once, when Aiden was one." She said softly.

"What happened to you telling me?" I demanded.

"I was scared you wouldn't believe me. It had been two years since I had talked to you." She explained.

"I would've believed you." I spoke softly.

I would've believed her. Tiana isn't the type to lie about something like that, nor would she have gotten pregnant on purpose, since she was so set on finishing school before she even thought about kids. She did everything by herself, and she didn't have to.

"I would've taken care of the both of you." I said stepping closer to her. "Why Bambina?" I spoke as I closed in on her. I gingerly took her chin and lifted it up forcing her to look at me.

"I didn't want to hold you back"

"That is the stupidest thing you've ever did! I mean what the fuck made you think in any way, shape or form that it was okay to hide some shit like this from me?!" I yelled feeling anger take over me again.

"I'm sorry" Tia whispered with tears in her eyes.

"I'm going to need a lot more than sorry on this one Tiana." I said letting go of her chin. "Is that why you didn't finish Spelman?"

She nodded, "It got too hard to be a mother and go to school. And granny kept getting sick. I figured it would be less stressful to just go to a JC and transfer back later."

"You wouldn't have had to do any of that had you just said something. I would've come back to help. Or I could've moved you up there with me. We could've come up with plenty more solutions than keeping me in the dark." I scolded.

"I know, but at the time I was just scared." She tried to justify. But there was no justification for what she did.

"I want to meet him. And sometime this week." I demanded. Wrong thing to do.

"Whoa whoa whoa. You can not come into my house demanding shit. Yes you are Aiden's dad and yes I was wrong to keep that from you. However, you will show me respect as his mother." Throughout her little rant I was poked in the chest every time she put emphasis on a word.

I caught her wrist and held it tightly. "You will do as I say" I growled right before she used her free and to slap me.

"I don't know who the fuck you think you are or who you might be, but you may have lost yo damn mind grabbing me up like that." Tia spat out me pushing me away from her.

"I see your attitude hasn't changed much" I chuckled humorously

"I see yours has" she quipped. I looked up giving her a once over. Her leggings hugged her curves, and her sweater only went to the top of her belly button showing off the piercing she got her junior year. She stood at the same 4" 10 height. As I continued to stare she continued to talk.

"What did you say?" I asked, shaking my head.

"I said what was that shit back at the club?" She demanded crossing her arms over her chest. "And why the fuck do you have a gun?"

'Fuck' should I tell her. No, a bad idea. If she knew I was in the mafia, let alone a mafia king, she wouldn't let me get to know my son.

"Don't worry about it." I waved her off.

"Da fuck you mean don't worry about it. If you are going to be around my son I need to know why you have a gun on you." She ranted.

I was losing my patience with her. I was too used to people just doing what I said and not fighting me on everything I said or did. "I said don't worry about it Tia."

"I have the right to know why you-"

"Do not tell me shit about having the fucking right to know anything! I had the fucking right to know that I have a fucking kid." I threw back at her causing her to back down from the argument. Then she started crying.

'Shit' I hate seeing Tiana cry, even if she makes me angry.

"Come on don't cry Bambina." I cooed pulling her into me.

"I'm so sorry." She sobbed.

"It's okay." I comforted.

"No it isn't. I should've told you." I just stood there letting her cry into my chest.

"Let's go sit on the couch." I suggested leading her to the sofa. We sat down with Tia still in my arms. She had stopped crying after a few minutes, but continued to lay her head on my chest, with her arms wrapped tightly around my torso.

"I missed you." She whispered.

"I missed you too Bambina." I smiled, pressing a kiss on her forehead. "What's he like?"

"He's a lot like you." She smiled.

"Really?" I asked, trying to contain my excitement.

"Yes. Moody, especially in the morning. Takes forever to do his hair. Fiercely protective, but he has a temper."

"I don't have a temper." I defended myself.

"Lie of the century" Tia laughed rolling her eyes. "But he's very sweet." She finished.

"When can I meet him"

"Umm tomorrow when I pick him up I guess." She said. "But we can't tell him you're his dad yet."

"Oh" I sighed dejectedly.

Sensing my hurt feelings she turned to look me in my eyes. "Hey I said yet." She smiled. "I want to give him time to get used to you before we just spring that information on him. Okay?" She laid her hand on the side of my face.

"Yeah I understand." I whispered. "When can we tell him then?" I asked eagerly.

"2 weeks. On his birthday."
